Facinating to watch, as a driver I was paying attention to the road, lanes and signs as well as the scenary. Back in my younger days I took a ferry to Oslo then drove to the Artic Circle, then back to Mo-i-Rana and across Sweden on the E12 and via ferry at Umea to Vaasa then to Helsinki via Tampere. It was in June, the days of midnight sun, and a big adventure for a 20 years old, well before the days of internet - I still have the paper maps!! We crossed the Artic Circle (E6 towards Fauske) at altitude, deep snow everywhere although thankfully the roads were clear! The Finnish countryside is very different from the UK, and driving conditons too, it always amused me that some of the place names on the signposts seemed to be so long I'm sure the signs had to be extra long to cope!!. Am comtemplating a trip to this area of Finland, in winter, having driven in Iceland in winter the cold is a known factor. I did see a few speed camera signs, seems that COVID isn't the only plague that spread globally.
I took a side trip to Rovaniemi during my 2019 road trip of Sweden. I went out to eat around 8 PM and picked the restaurant whose outside area was in the shadow because it was too hot in the sun! 😎 My windshield was full of splatted insects after the drive from Kiruna.
I was travelling Finnland in 2021 and stayed a few days in Rovaniemi... it was July, so for the first time i experienced artic summer nights... the sun went down but by no means it became dark.. very exciting. I went up to Kirkenes and the Northern Cape afterwards and came down to Roviniemi for another stop. It's a pity the city has been destroyed in WW2... and it was strange buying a christmas souvenir in summer. It was all Okay until christmas music was played all over the whole aerea. That was the point when i fled to my car and left... no christmas music in July sorry ;-)
I’ve been to Santa Claus village in winter. Nice to see it this way. And yes, you have to pay to see Santa. Which we (Dutch) did not wanted to do. So we went for coffee in the Santa Claus Village. In a shop ran by (you guessed it) Dutch. Yes nice memories.
Is not this city the place where Santa Claus lives? You know, that fat, red-dressed old man who travels around the world to give presents to the children on Christmas
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've seen you commenting all around the yt, mostly under videos related to "Russia's enemy countries". But just to inform you, nobody gets triggered about this. Everyone just laughs

June. Perfect timing as it’s always daylight!

How did you do the signs
the first section of 60kmh seems so slow for a road of this type, meanwhile there are single carrigeways with 100kmh limits in Finland...
good video !
I assume Highway 4 in Finland is set up as a super-2 throughout most of the country.
Someone could tell me which cam is used in this type of vids ?
Nice city road
I'm doing a roadtrip to Poland series on my channel and I will be going through that road in Rovaniemi in 2 days (21.07.24)

@@aymanla471 Happy for you, you too look like Russian. And I clearly remember seeing you posting similar troll comments on other videos here on YT.
