The juxtaposition of Phil crying over Chayanne's amazing food and the other eggs' conversation about being haunted by inconsolable ghosts is.... something.
When I learned that Lulah can hear and talks to the ghosts of the dead eggs, that made me really sad. I really miss Tilin and Flippa.

Here's an interesting thought: I don't think that there are many instances in MC RP history in which a chat has been canonized to the degree the ghosties (Bad's chat) have been.
For explanation, Bad's POV represents the POV of the ghosties, a bunch of ghosts (mostly invisible, although they can take on a physical form shortly given the right circumstances and tools) that are tethered to his being.
Or rather, they used to be tethered to him.
Because when he died well...
He wasn't in this world anymore.
And so, they became tethered to the thing closest to his heart - his children.
And Dapper and Pomme sense their presence... and the changes in it.
They are used to the sensation of being surrounded by ghosts since they are always around Q!Bad but they take notice of how the ghosties suddenly seem to concentrate around the two of them...
And it leads them to investigate the matter and to their visit to the Death Family.
In the notion of these developments, the ghosties are shown to be a substantial part of the Halo Family's everyday life...
And an important part of the narrative.
(Although technically, they have always been that, given that they protect members of the family in battle.)
It creates a story in which we, the audience, matter and have a voice that is heard in canon - even if it doesn't form words all the time, our presence is felt by the characters...
And in which we are not exclusively dependent on the streamer's character.
We are connected yes, but we do exist without him...
And that makes the ghosties their own, *our* own character, in a sense!
And I, quite frankly, feel like that this, giving the manifestation of the viewers in lore their own viewpoint, framing them as a character who has emotions, a certain autonomy and an impact, is a very fresh and unique reinvention of the "ghost concept" in Minecraft storytelling, don't you think?

For those people who just assume Bad copied ghost ideas from the other SMP, it's not q!Bad's ghost. It is the POV from the ghosties (Bad's chat, that's why Pomme said "multiple"), and they are crying because they saw q!Bad "died". And they are following the eggs atm because they can't get to BBH.
Also, Bad is immortal, but his body/vessel is vulnerable in the mortal world.
I don't think having a ghost that persists after death is exactly original to Dream SMP either, The idea has been done countless times throughout fiction.

I feel like it was probably also Bad though. You cant see it in this video but when Dapper told Phil about how he killed most of the Toucans, Bad shook his head. Also the way he looked at the little duck on Chyannes sign.

So i really wanted to talk about it so I'll just say it here:
Chyanne being super glum about being appart of "The death family" but has no relations to death like the others is sad.
Because in my own head cannon Chyanne has a relation with death. He has untapped abilities in which he can draw his strength from fallen warriors.
It was cute and all that he respects Technoblade.
But with Quackity absolutely hating Chyanne as well, kinda gave me that.

yeah its canon! I don't remember exactly when, but she mentioned it months ago on one of Bad's streams when she visited the grave yard with him and some other eggs. It was one of Dapper/the original egg's birthdays. I think bonnie also said something about how she could see ghosts, but I don't know what.

First she said something like she could hear souls
Then mentioned it again in relation to her siblings
Then Bonnie the Horse told her about her conection to the dead and how she'll guide them
And im pretty sure there is more but those are the ones i remember from the top of my head
During a recent visit to the dead eggs' graves Tallulah said she didn't like going there because it's so loud for her.

And today the stream was from our point of view, the little ghosts, haunting Bad's kids, to take care of them while he's dead.
Hence why we've been following Dapper and Pomme through Bad's recording to watch them.
So yeah, that's litteraly what's said in the video, MULTIPLE "someones" following them, not just "a ghost".
So that's pretty sweet and original in my opinion 😊❤

What you are essentially saying is that nobody can ever play a ghost character ever again because Wilbur did it once. BadBoyHalo’s ghost is significantly different than Ghostbur. Ghostbur was visible and was able to talk to everyone, while BadBoyHalo is only spectating. Also, another aspect to Ghostbur’s character was that he had a completely different personality compared to when Wilbur was alive, which does not apply to BadBoyHalo.
BTW guys in the comment section. Remember this not just the ghosties, it’s also Q!bbh too- it’s him and the ghosties
No, because there would be loopholes:
1. if q!Bad's ghost were there, Tallulah would feel and hear it. She can hear the cries of her dead siblings on the first place. Tallulah can hear ghosts and cries of them, and she would have hear q!Bad's.
2. Q!Bad is still possibly in the process of reincarnation or while the moment that he was choosing on the afterlife, it was the same time Pomme and Dapper went to the Death Family's home (remember, mortal and afterlife worlds can have different speed of time)
@@tinytina6056 well not necessarily, she felt another presence that wasn’t an egg, a strong presence. She said that her siblings were crying, which kept her up all night. This I believe is them crying for bad, since he died. Also technically it wasn’t confirmed it was just the ghosties so it could be both.
@@jellyfishstudios5060 Tallulah did not say "a strong presence" but "Someone is following the eggs", then Pomme added "Multiple, actually and they are nice" (and also confirmed they are ghosts, but unidenified names).
It can be also q!BBH's ghost is with them, but it is more likely the lost ghosts (ghosties) of Bad following them, crying because Bad is absent.
Also, it is confirmed that it is the POV of ghosties just this stream (as of 2/20)
