Okay so there was this guy on Reddit like ten years ago who is a sous-chef, and his friend group had a joke where they said they’d totally eat someone if they had consent. This dude drove a motorcycle and as is common, he got in an accident and his foot and part of his leg had to be amputated.
Well, he asked his doctor for whatever bits they could salvage and got I believe 4 ounces of shin, and made fajitas out of them and his friends ate them.
The best part is he posted the recipe, and he said it was like a 5 out of 10, and that humans don’t taste very good, which DOES line up with other accounts of cannibalism. Depending on the cut of meat we apparently taste like stringy beef or bad pork.
Maybe because he ate the wrong part. Limbs in animals are often stringy while haunches and oysters are the tender ones.
