  • We woke up early is morning and enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee from Brewno 😋 We then got ready to go and meet some Ellies! We are always in the car and far away from elephants, so it was crazy being so close to these magnificent big creatures. What an awesome experience. We do prefer our animals free-roaming, but this educational experience was really worthwhile!
We waited out Stage 4 with a round of putt-putt and went for an amazing walk around the Hippo Trail of Kruger Park Lodge. It is really a beautiful walk and would recommend it to everyone.

Thank you Leenderd! We appreciate it. It was an awesome experience 🤩🙌🏼
We really love walking and exploring a new place on foot. Unfortunately we never get far 😂🙈 We are to busy birding 🙈 We will come back from a walk with stiff necks rather than stiff legs 😂

Thank you Doug! We really enjoy a walk. Or even in while at home in Bloemfontein we often go find a random gravel road we can explore, drink a coffee and do some birding. 🙏🏼

Hi Jacqueline. According to me Elephant Whispers (where we were) in Hazyview is still open. I think there is one in Phalaborwa as well - Elephant Walk.
Really learnt a lot about these awesome creatures. Very cool experience! ☺️🙏🏼

Come on, if you can get someone to sit on the elephants, let’s be honest, you have used force and cruelty to them. If you respect them, let elephants be elephants.

These elephants are clearly not abused or neglected and you can see that they are well kept for and have an enjoyable life. What you’re saying is basically “we can’t kill any animals for food etc., as you are using cruelty”, yet you probably eat meat and have animal products
