As a medical practitioner the fans should have called these obvious physical manifestations out. She is an anorexic weight. Problem with supporters/ fans they bash people when such things are being said in thinking it is a form of attack to their beloved idol. Fans and supporters should think that when other people notices something, observe and understand where its coming from. She is beautiful but she is not healthy regardless what the norm is in the CN industry. Esp now that there are news coming out that this lady was allegedly abused and tormented by her boss. Why do you call it a stroke? She herself has written about it on her social media account, should be very easy to check. She wrote that she suffers from depression, and that is an illness. She also implies that she has been bullied, unclear who and when, but that she was constantly told to cheer up. Deep depression can be fatal and should be treated like the illness it is.What I feel sad about is that she seems to think she is somehow to blame for this, for not being perfect and living up to the fans expectations. Tbh I think she would be happier and better off leaving this industry and live a normal life, but I guess that will never happen.

As a medical practitioner the fans should have called these obvious physical manifestations out. She is an anorexic weight. Problem with supporters/ fans they bash people when such things are being said in thinking it is a form of attack to their beloved idol. Fans and supporters should think that when other people notices something, observe and understand where its coming from. She is beautiful but she is not healthy regardless what the norm is in the CN industry. Esp now that there are news coming out that this lady was allegedly abused and tormented by her boss. Medically, her body needs to recover. It means she needs to put on weight, be at a healthy weight so her body has enough nutrients to heal. She needs to seek a psychologist and be removed to her current agency / handlers so there will no longer be triggers. If she stays in the same agency/ handlers .. no amount of clinical psychology can help her bec the triggers are there. She should be surrounded by friends and family where she can feel safe and secured. Work is work. She should not kill herself to look “ ideal” or follow the “diet norm” if its making her sick. She needs to have a professional dietitian and nurse by her side for the next 3 months. The dietitian should be with her for a year to make sure eats and not regurgitate the foods she eats. I hope she recovers. Anorexic nervosa is a continuous disease that is unnoticeable until it’s noticeable. I hope its in the early stages.

This is very sad. I get beauty standards are crazy and extreme in the entertainment industry altogether, but in China specifically it seems to be much worse. I'm a 5'3" woman weighing 123lbs. I'm nowhere near "curvy". I'm the same height as Zhao Lusi yet she weighs 85lbs. She's clearly malnourished. No matter the country and it's beauty standards, it needs to stop.
I hope Zhao Lusi gets the opportunity to leave her agency and file a lawsuit asking them for a heavy compensation for the physical and mental trauma they have given her. The girl is so talented!
