I love coming back occasionally and listening to the long form and watching the footage of a bright and sunny morning in Manhattan. The whole World was about to change. But it was brilliant that morning.
Salty chose a surprisingly relaxing fight song. But I think i get it...when I listen to certain old big band tunes, I can't help but picture myself slow dancing with a beautiful woman under the stars in 1941...just prior to the world descending into the hell of war. So many would lose their innocence and sacrifice everything back then, and now we are once again in very dark times with no end in sight. This war may very well kill us all. 🍸
Very nice, very old school...when music was really music - & you can dance to it with your favorite someone...saw the playlist...more of this please!...subbed...Thanks!
not really, I mean there was the Great Depression, the Prohibition for alcohol, blacks were still treated as inferior sooo..... But nevertheless there were still some great things for that era.

Chet Baker is a good option
Glenn Miller, maybe even count Basie… the same artist probably has some other good stuff too

Is this song from 1930?
No, only the video footage is from 1930s. The music by Kevin MacLeod is "in the style of" 1930's music but was written quite recently.
Good question and a good answer. Thanks.
