I feel honored that you`re wearing the tuque that i sent you, Josh. It`s always kind of relaxing to watch your videos. Could you please explain to us Europeans how that 18-gear shifting works? Always be safe!
"These cardlocks are specifically for trucks" I would add trucks driven by professional drivers that can manuever their trucks expertly. Good job getting in and out. I love watching drivers swing into a lot and back up straight like it is no big deal. That takes a lot of skill to make it look effortless.
Love your positivity and facing everyday with optimism. It sure perks up all your followers. Your steering wheel off center would drive me nuts... I wo have thought your OCD would have made you fix it a long time ago. Drive carefully Trucker Josh and thanks for the ride along today.
I've been watching your site for couple years now. I'm 78 and used to drive truck. You usually last show I watch every night before sleeping. You are my relax pill. Thank you for that. Stay safe and keep on trucking. Never enough miles especially when your starting a family love your truck. Drive one for years but when you can with fuel the way it is a newer fuel efficient unit will to wonders to your earnings. But I DEFINITELY can understand you. Rubber side down
Your driving skills are amazing. Getting around in tight spots and driving in extreme traffic in the night and unfamiliar highways. Stay safe my friend.
Impressed that you made it from east of Montreal to past Sudbury with two stops! Glad you got that extra load. Did you ACTUALLY think the truck stop in Nairn Centre, Ontario would be full? It's totally in the middle of nowhere! Have a good rest, Joshua / Oshawa. We will be riding with you to Dryden tomorrow.🚚
Hey Josh! I live in Kingston, been watching you for years now, first time I’ve seen a video with my city in it! Been trucking myself out of Kingston for a few years now, keep up the great work and stay safe buddy!
Hey Josh, love the videos. Been watching for several years now. When you filled up in Oshawa last week at Petro card lock you only 5 minutes away from my house. No good time to travel through Toronto on Hwys 401, 404. Rush hour all day long now. Keep trucking
Your philosophy on convincing yourself its going to be a good day , was spot on. you just had a little bit of a challenge explaining it the way you wanted. Your disclaimer was perfect & funny. 😂 Your the best Josh !!! Safe travels home 🙏
Josh!! I am new, started watching a week ago (early Jan 24) - binged your Mexico (almost) and back - then NYC and back…So I am in! Now a member. Just worried about how Karen sleeps at night 🙂
Nice tour Josh , made me remember why I don't drive the 401 much anymore . Northern Ontario most of the time , til now been a great winter with no snow and not bad for cold , no heck for snowmobiling or ice fishing
Hi Trucker Josh thank God you were at the right place at the right time and got Big Blue fixed and at least your picking up a load and heading home to Britt and baby Theo this video has been great as always you have a great night god bless 🙏
Trucker Josh knowledge nuggets More tolls this trip Careful you are used to they way the steering wheel feels, if you move it you will have to get used to it Stay safe, stay warm
Hey Josh you were in my neighborhood of Kingston glad you at least got a load to put on the back of the trailer hope the rest of your trip goes smooth drive safe.
Hi Josh I was comparing the diesel prices to the Netherlands. We pay between the 2,50 and 2,75 CAD a liter here. It's crazy although the distances are smaller here.
One of those rare times you passed by my neck of the woods and never video. I'd have to drive about 15-20 mins down hwy. 12 over to the 400. Would have been dark and then I could see your chicken light show go by, eh. 😁
Josh, the toll plaza space at the booth being so narrow is so that the driver does not park too far from the booth itself. Just imagine the kerfuffle if you had space. The attendants would have to get in and out of the booth and it would create longer wait times. Hope this helps. Philippe..
Hey Josh! For one of your videos, you should explain some of the equipment and their functions… such as that pot and what it’s used for! I assume it holds air for the brakes. Lots of non truckers follow you, including me. I can fly a $120 million airplane, but I don’t know half the components of a typical truck!😊
+ Most super truckers who have mechanical knowledge and tools keep this air chamber spare in their tool box in the truck because they go bad frequently together with some air hoses and fittings , most likely it was only the fitting holding the hose in , but if you call a mechanic shop they change the whole thing to be able to give the proper warranty on their work from the legal point of view ; kind of that tampon of the 737 WAX !! 🫤
From Oshawa, I would have taken 12 north to hwy 27 north pass Orillia and jump on the 400 north. It's been years since I drove in that area. You actually passed the town/city of St Bruno and St Hubert PQ. I went to elementary school there.
Hi Josh, love your channel, we’re finally online to make comments. My wife and I saw you at Petro pass at Deacon Corner on Jan 22, you were fuelling we waved but couldn’t stop to chat, sorry 😢next time you have to go to Quebec City avoid the Pierre LaPorte bridge by using hwy 40 on the north shore of St.Lawrence river better asphalt and no bottle neck That was a good trip nice talking to you finally 1st time I’m not a tech savvy person but got it working 18:22 1Ron
In a situation like that what happens if you don't own the trailer your pulling an it breaks down like it did with the brake pod do you have to pay for it to be fixed or the company that owns it.
Well it seemed to work out that bad day with all the cancellations but real nice sitting in truck stop and getting air pod replaced right there I’ve spent many hours waiting for repairs. Do you get paid percentage of load, you’re always trying to fill the trailer?
+ Hate to be that guy ; but the look on your face waking up here made me ask : was that shop that fixed your breaks busy ? Or : how well did you sleep that night ? Or : if Diesel was with you ; could he hear or sense if some raccoon was messing up in the back of the trailer during the night ? It’s just too fishy how “ convenient “ that incident was , right ? 🦝 ‼
Congratulations Josh you negotiated the 400and 401 without making a cameo appearance on Heavy Rescue!
I feel honored that you`re wearing the tuque that i sent you, Josh.
It`s always kind of relaxing to watch your videos.
Could you please explain to us Europeans how that 18-gear shifting works?
Always be safe!
To many Automatic transmissions, I grew up on manual transmissions and the last 25 years I’ve had the 18 speed overdrive. Josh can explain 😊
401, busiest hwy in North America. I think I would have taken 12 north of Oshawa to 400 just to avoid the Toronto nightmare. Great driving Josh.
love the red green saying keep your stick on the ice

Devine intervention Josh. That what that was ! Best regards chuck.
Have a Good Rest 😴 Josh
Congrats -- coming up on Vlog 3,000. I think I've been around for most of them. Well done!
Have a safe and good trip home Josh and enjoy sometime with your family.Thank you for great videos.
That’s always the best case scenario. And I’m glad that you got the best case scenario.
Them's the kind of brakes, no, breaks...them's the kind of breaks you get from good clean livin.
Gnarly traffic. Thanks for the update.

It’s so funny you drove just past our house in Kingston lol

Amazing how positive you are in any situation that comes up
Thanks for great and educational content!
Id say the best place for a trailer breakdown would be your companies yard. Do you miss the roll tight over straight flatbed with tarping?
And of course you had to get through Toronto traffic to get up into northern Ontario
Yes sir!🫡 Leaving a comment! 🫡
Love your videos,,,how you use the maps,,, your music,,,your sense of humor! You’re just awesome! Safe travels!
Please get a nice Pinstripe or TJV logo on your hood. We get a lot of the hood view and It would look good 👍
Drove right by my place, next time stop at the new Petro Pass at Bowmanville Avenue instead of Oshawa, easy on/off the 401.
Keep trucking Josh
👍🏻👍🏻
I'm happy that Josh mentioned his crooked steering wheel, its been driving me crazy!
Josh!! I am new, started watching a week ago (early Jan 24) - binged your Mexico (almost) and back - then NYC and back…So I am in! Now a member.
Just worried about how Karen sleeps at night 🙂
Your day, can be less of a bad day because of your attitude not regarding your circumstances.
Thanks for the great videos. You are an example of a good driver. Keep up the great work.
Hey ! i was doing that all the time Orillia On to thunder On 13 hrs for me 130.000 ponds
Nice tour Josh , made me remember why I don't drive the 401 much anymore . Northern Ontario most of the time , til now been a great winter with no snow and not bad for cold , no heck for snowmobiling or ice fishing
That's the A30 toll pass, we have one! Fun stuff running 401 and 400, do it all the time! Stay safe!
Hi Trucker Josh thank God you were at the right place at the right time and got Big Blue fixed and at least your picking up a load and heading home to Britt and baby Theo this video has been great as always you have a great night god bless 🙏
We like Josh Nuggets of Wisdom lol
WOW josh i live 5 mins from the petro pass in oshawa you were at wish i new would of stopped and said hi
All that GTA traffic, well done navigating that traffic Josh!
18:15 "Through this red light?" lol
Trucker Josh knowledge nuggets
More tolls this trip
Careful you are used to they way the steering wheel feels, if you move it you will have to get used to it
Stay safe, stay warm
+ When you r right ; you r wright ! And it’s more comfortable too ; helps you get some z z z s on the wheel !! 🤪
Hey Josh you were in my neighborhood of Kingston glad you at least got a load to put on the back of the trailer hope the rest of your trip goes smooth drive safe.
Thank you Lord Josh

Hi Josh, that’s my daily drive lane..401 to 400 and get off to Newmarket! Good to see that you got some loads to take back!!
Nice to ride along. I usually see Nairn Centre when I'm towing our Lund.

just watched your video saw you were loading at sunbelt in kingston would have bought you a coffee watch your videos faithfully
Thanks for the ride super trucker Joshpp
I start off the day with it's going to suck. Then I am happy when it gets better.😂

Oshawa! My home town! I think you now know why that location was the cheapest lol.
Love your blogs Josh
From Oshawa, I would have taken 12 north to hwy 27 north pass Orillia and jump on the 400 north. It's been years since I drove in that area. You actually passed the town/city of St Bruno and St Hubert PQ. I went to elementary school there.
Hope ur having a good day
Good place to have a problem. 2 hr. wait is not bad when your on the road like that. stay safe .
Ya gunna have to have a cake for your 3k vlog Josh

A long drive home trough Sudbury to Thunder Bay and home to Manitoba
Glad you got Old Blue fixed. Sure is a long way to get back home, with all the zig zagging you have to do.
I wish you didn't point out the steering wheel 😂😂
I did the same drive Monday night up the 400 from the Toronto Airport, I followed the 11 to get home
Trucker Josh - The philosopher trucker! Love your positive attitude!
you really should hit at least 150k subs this year man . 👍 PS: let Britt do some dogs footage during the day ... i miss the lord of all weasels
Did you thank the people that fixed your brake pod?
Was the smiley trailer frowning yesterday?
Dat is wel een reis met tegenslagen Josh Maar het kom goed Slaap lekker Tot morgen Groet Jan
+ See translashoom !! 🧐
Josh, we’ll take a slightly bad knowledge nugget over a nugget from the backyard most any day.
Josh are you going to fix the stone chip in Blue's windshield ?
I keep wondering that as well. Lol
+ I heard that in some places you v to replace the whole windshield ; they don’t accept filling it with that glue kit in a commercial vehicle 😦
JFI, in America we call it a brake chamber
In a situation like that what happens if you don't own the trailer your pulling an it breaks down like it did with the brake pod do you have to pay for it to be fixed or the company that owns it.
Hey Josh, I am in Ontario near sarnia,
I have a question.
Is driving thru Chicago as bad as driving through Toronto?
2.00 per Lt in Halifax
Well it seemed to work out that bad day with all the cancellations but real nice sitting in truck stop and getting air pod replaced right there I’ve spent many hours waiting for repairs. Do you get paid percentage of load, you’re always trying to fill the trailer?
Yes I'm on percentage
$5.52 a gallon
The only better place would have been at the yard.
If I had known you were that close, i could have brought you a coffee or something else
How much would a fix like that cost?
Will you get paid for Tonu? Truck ordered not used.
Yes
I live in Oshawa! lol
This is a comment big Josh. For the ALGO
Hey Josh at 1:35 you spelled your name Joshpp is that French spelling in Quebec ??
Maybe he had to take a Qui Qui.
Hi

Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your truck?
No I don't
Can't keep a good man down Josh.
For the first time in 10 years watching your vlog, I finally get to see the route I'm taking every week! For a sec, I couldn't believe my eyes haha
I'm here to help improve your algorithm.
TU A PASSER DANS MA VILLE DE BEAYUHAQRNOIS JE TE SALUT
