I am an Ibanez RG guy, but yes - I love his B.C. Rich Warlocks! I remember in one of the interviews he said that he left B.C. Rich because of Bernie Rico's death. That's reasonable.
@@dexxpredwarior9033Yeah Mick and his Warlocks was the best image for him imo. BC Rich did suffer a lot with Bernie’s death. They are in good hands again, owned by a company that wants to return them to their glory days.
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh I hope so! BC Rich is a great brand, that deserves to be on the top of the guitar world! BC Rich Gunslingers and ST-III's, probably, my the most favourite SuperStrats after Ibanez RG - I hope they will bring them back!
I don’t know why…. Because it’s just gonna be a super Strat with some kind of trim style bridge that’s locked in place. His signature pick up and reverse headstock. No different than his Ibanez or his Jackson no
Dang. I wish they weren’t plain looking. They look like standard moderns. No signature touch. At least make the stripe colored. Or a number 7 etched on the pickup would have been nice.
No. A big 7 etched into would instantly turn a lot of people off. Mick is one of my favorite guitarists ever, but a big 7 would literally only inspire me to play Slipknot riffs and not make the gear my own.
yea i agree, something to make it stand out would be nice. his seymours have the seven on the side and you instantly know they're micks pickups, these could be anybody's
One partnership that could work and be different is Yamaha. They have the skills and technical knowledge to create a unique Guitar for Mick that would become interesting
They sound the same as the ones on the albums when he used Seymour duncan pickups....don't think I'll be upgrading I'm not hearing anything different here plus they'll probably cost about £300 plus
he made the switch because fishmans, so any guitar with those fishman pickups will sound identical to eachother capturing his signature sound, with wound coils you have variations, your pickups might sound different than the blackouts i have and the one he had in his old guitars, they could all be identical spec wise but still sound different. with fishmans they would all sound the same which is what you want with a signature pickup.
@@titans2720 I expect the majority of the tone is the amp and cab and if he switched out the pickups he could dial in an extremely similar tone. Differences between different examples of the same pickup would be so minimal that it would not be noticeable at all in a live situation and would make a negligible difference in the studio.

Sounds like crate amp from 2002 in someone’s garage.
That’s why is so good
That's his sound
I like it
You’d be better off saying, “I’m a bitch”.

That guy was all over my room when I was a kid
💀
I hope in the form of posters😂
He’s still in my room
Damn, were your parents aware of this?! And here I thought he was one of the good ones smh. Well, teach me for believing that!

Yeah he's looking and sounding better than ever in interviews, lets him have a lot more endurance for stage presence, too.
I’m diggin the weight loss.
Left Behind and Before I Forget don't sound bad in drop A.
They were in drop b
Red guitar was b
Grey guitar was a
Fuck that sounds incredible
That tone is so fucking meaty and delicious i love it
I always thought Mick's sound sounded like a giant beast chewing something. Dont ask me why.
Definitely does have alot of bite
Slimknot.
He's a BAAAAAADDDDDDDASS 🤘🏾!
Can someone tell what the second song hes playing is pks

Good tone, but i think it could be better if the gain level knob was at least 15024749 lower...
I got fishermans there is no hate, i gotta tell u the emgs sounded better for mick
He makes that guitar look tiny
Mick Thomson needs a Titanium Alloy Tremolo System Bridge. It cost 365 USD, Made in Japan, Available in Aliexpress.
Did mick thompson split himself in two or something. What a trasformation.

There are so many guitarists better than Mick, and we end up with garbage pickups like this because people just don't know.
