Love the doilies! They add instant charm to the home and also under vases and such that may scratch surfaces. So useful and lovely! Thank you Jayda and Mister in Stitches

I've been to Paris, just to go to Mary maximus Paris is such a cute town I loved all the shops and the river. Thanks for the fond memory reminder. I haven't seen my Canadian friends for years so what a wonderful memory to have.

Caught this after the live but loved watching you do this one. We have some 3 weight thread ordered and this will definitely be done. Thanks so much. We bought another of your doily patterns today which I'm working on. It's one done with 4 wt cotton and 5.5 hook. Loving it so far! Thanks!

Jayda, I want to thank you for delving into thread crochet. You have inspired me to try again. Tonight, I completed my very first doily ever!
When I was about 8 years old, I asked my mom to teach me. She had made many beautiful doilies, but she does not enjoy doing it. She did not have the patience to work with me and I just couldn’t do it. At that time, I didn’t even know you could crochet with yarn and bigger hooks. My mom never did. When I grew up, I taught myself to crochet by using a book I got with diagrams in a small beginners kit. I am 58 years old now, and I finally don’t feel like a failure at it anymore. A 50 year old goal has been met! Thank you again. I love your channel and refer anyone I know that is interested in learning to your channel. You are an amazing, inspirational teacher. I am looking forward to more content about this beautiful “almost” lost art of doily making. ❤

OMGsh! That row of 15 dc's nearly did my ADHD brain in, lol. I did the last row faster than that one, lol. This one is very pretty and I'll be making another one to attach to a hoop for a "dreamcatcher" style wall decor. The one I did following along I used a ball of yarn scraps tied together throughout, so it's pretty hideous, lol. White, blue, maroon, purple, neon & lime green...yeah, hideous, LOLOL. Can't wait to do it with "normal" colors or a single color. Love the pattern, thanks for it!

So just saw I missed the live & I should have been awake 😂 BUT my beautiful nearly 13year old lab Rosie, decided to play games from 2am. The toilet & good game. So long story short, I eventually dozed & missed the live 😢.
