i second that, ive known rich hall from comedy game shows in the uk, just watched him do stand up for the first time and perform a funny country song on keyboard and found him hilarious!
His comedy is amazing. the way he's using the american consumer culture juxtaposed to the ridiculous branding that reflects philosophy is amazing. long live rich!
I was thinking the same thing. I'm a big fan of both Rich Hall and of course, I adore Reginald D. Hunter's comedy -- both of them have a rather British sense of dry, intelligent wit and almost snarky delivery. My favourite. I'm an American and tend to prefer British comedy, actors, movies, and such.
He works almost exclusively in England these days, he's made some documentaries and a series for the BBC, shows up on a few panel shows and does stand up tours. He's doing great stuff too in my opinion
I remember this. I wish I could find the bit where he talks about women and how when you ask them what's wrong they suddenly whip out charts and graphs. I remember it had me in stitches but I can't find it now. Was from the 90's
If I have a soulmate she's probably halfway around the world cooking goat cheese over a dung fire in Bhutan. 😂😂😂😂 Funniest thing I think I've ever heard.
I'd really hate for you to think that about american comedians, because many of them are really quite good. try looking at lewis black, Dara O'briain said that that's one of his biggest influences. Stewart Francis is another good one, i think he's popular in the UK too. A lot of americans like demetri martin right now too, he's my favorite.
Its weird seeing him on american television, its almost as if he was ment to gig in the UK, him and Reginald D Hunter, just fin in so much better in the UK in my opinion.
"Intelligent" with relation to comedians usually means they're hard to understand. In this case it means they...use brand name products as props? Nevertheless, I was kind of excited for 'Divorce' cereal.
You hit the nail on the head Sorocal! Rich Hall
is a creative genius

Jesus Christ, I have a new favourite comedian.

he's like....an optimist wrapped in a layer of cynicism.

Raphal Nadal now has the exact same appearance as Rich Hall had in the 1990's.

Funniest thing I think I've ever heard.
So 90s 😂
Tide goes out and the tide comes back....
....
It's not like we have an hour and a half here pal!
Seconding this. If you can ever catch Rich Hall's Fishing Show (very hard to find!) it's a classic. Despite the title, it's not really about fishing.
4 billion people? Wow, it's 7 billion now. Almost doubled in only 20 years.
Very clever!
Very talented...Where is he now???
@Banji2009
Like he said once: "I like to tour in the UK to find the misery and make people laugh"
everyone says dylan moran's hair (I see it) but theres a decided lack of comment on Rich Hall having Alan Davies hair!

Read the description. It's right there at the bottom.
genius
He is like a living Moe Syzlak
@Xestantial The character was actually based off of him!
Its weird seeing him on american television, its almost as if he was ment to gig in the UK, him and Reginald D Hunter, just fin in so much better in the UK in my opinion.
@Banji2009 Well, I'm not complaining, we at Birtian got him, and we are not giving him back.
comedy genius.
