Anyway, if that happens again I will post on Twitter, so you can go follow me there if you want (Pantagana @x90z75ek). I don't go to Twitter often, so if you are trying to contact me use TH-cam, I'll respond faster here.
So, I got another idea looking at this: can we use this map to see a battle of all Lords of Cinder (Yhorm, Aldrich, Lorian/Lothric and the 2nd stage Abyss Watcher + maybe Soul of Cinder too) vs. the tournament's 8 finalists (Havel, Shira, Lapp, Ledo, Dunnel, Zoey, Hawkwood, Hodrick)? Then, if they lose, expand to that all 16 2nd-stage fighters. If those *still* lose, expand that to the entire tournament, but I do not think this will be necessary.
Also depends who you end up fighting. i.e. Lapp is seen finishing Shira is round 1. Since they are both so strong, the winner comes a lot weaker to fight whoever is left.
75-ish abyss watchers to kill yhorm, and i dont think that many were really needed to do the job, so id assume about that number of greirats, if not a bit more. they just need to do enough damage to stunlock him.
Lapp getting his revenge on Shira on the first battle and Hawkwood defeating Lapp while Hodrick was targeting him makes me thing that a Havel vs Hawkwood could have happened in the tournament, just let me dream :')
Holy shit, I was already pleasantly surprised when my girl Kriemhild killed Hodrick around 9:40 ! Her making it to the final of both the second and third rounds wasn't too surprising in hindsight given that she's nearly the only character who is both able AND willing to stay at range all the time. That she actually won a round by killing Hawkwood, of all fighters, let alone in melee, totally was a surprise. Likewise, Anri and Sirris consistently outliving much stronger characters wasn't too surprising when considering one's defences and the other's infinite healing. What was a surprise was the persistence of Great Swamp Cuculus in the first round. I was already thinking "that's one for the books" when Havel died and she was still alive: her living long enough to duel Gael in the end was outperforming all expectations. Another thing nobody expected: Yuria practically parrying Havel to death at 2:24, even if she proceeded to let him bonk her twice for no reason immediately after, and it was ultimately Gael who stole the kill. Lastly, the fighting near the end of the second round felt almost scripted with how cinematic it was: Shira sniping Gael at 10:08, immediately followed by her duelling Hawkwood while Sir Vilhelm drains Anri to death at 10:14 ; Vilhelm and Hawkwood tag-team to kill Shira at 10:30; Hawkwood and Sir Vilhelm heal and erm...buff (let's say that's what that useless Vow of Silence was) at 10:35 and duel until Hawkwood prevails at 10:50 (Then duels Kriemhild at 11:10 and loses.) EDIT: Third round also gave us the sight of Drang Knight and Black Hand Gotthard tag-teaming to kill poor Albert at 12:20 (seems like Gotthard had some pretty deep differences with Kamui)...only for Drang Knight to get wiped out with Lapp's single swipe at 12:23; Gotthard got bodied by that too, but managed to get back up and fight Lapp for another minute - pretty good performance when considering how much weaker he was. EDIT2: Near the end of round 3, Havel was behaving just like he did during that one time he got wiped out by Crystal Sage: just pacing around in the middle, unable to decide whom to target. I actually thought he might end up killing off the survivors of the other fights thanks to that...but then Shira put paid to that notion with just two Lightning Arrows. In fact, out of Shira's four final kills, she owes three of them (Dunnel, Havel and Kriemhild) all to the fact other characters tend to not realize that after they got hit by the Lightning Arrow for the first time, they would better dodge the second: only Kriemhild forced her to cancel out of the second arrow at 17:25 and dodged the next one at 17:29, but the fourth arrow was too much.
3:08 this is for last tournament 5:23 wow did I just see way of white corona killing someone? 10:40 kriemhild seeing that whilhelm is still alive: Oh Heeeeel naaaah 12:25 Rosmarinus strikes back 16:31 nice non voluntary dodges by sirris

I am surprised Ledo was a no show. Pretty sure he would have went the way of Havel. Gael's defense + damage + passivity helped him go the distance. Also he had heals.
I didn't expect Havel to do well in this, since he has no estus, but boy did he get rocked all three rounds (pun intended). Round 1 and 2 he got caught in pestilent mist, and his high HP was just screaming from it. Then he smartened up and tried to avoid fighting at all in round 3, only to encounter the only NPC to use lightning; the element his armor set is weakest against.
Wait a second. Were the two bandits outside the cathedral of the deep in the npc tournament? I totally forget they existed until I saw them in this video. Was the drakeblood knight? Ricard?

It's not every NPC: I think the total number is like 44, and this is 36. Some of tournament's NPCs were replaced by closest equivalents (i.e. Gotthard instead of Kamui), some were removed (i.e. Greirat, for obvious reasons) and others were added (i.e. Drang Knight or the nameless Bandit/Knight duo).
@@Pantagana too bad, i wonder why the havel knight did so bad this time, he was alwys in the final in the other free for all video, maybe too many enemies
So, that's two of the absolute strongest NPCs, Zoey and Dunnel, on one team. The other two, Cornyx and Cuculus, are much weaker, but still have their strengths (watch how long Cuculus survived here, and recall Cornyx nearly killing Hodrick). Meanwhile, the sorcerers would be....Kriemhild, Orbeck, Heysel, unnamed Court Sorcerer, and I guess Leonhardt? Maybe Pale Shade too, if you stretch the definition. Either way, Team Sorcerer might have superior numbers, but I do not see that overcoming Pyros' far stronger AoEs.
@@azurebookllet9216 You could also throw in Hodrick on team pyromancers even though he's not an offensive one. At that point they become even more overkill against team sorcery.
