Nice work, Moo. I know how swells can make a difference on how fast you get from spot-to-spot as well as how safe the water-time can be. Glad your son went along. Enjoyed the full video. 👍
Winds there can suck, actually it blows. Some friends went out on a boat and got skunked that day. Not a good crabbing day. Hopefully Crabfest will be better. Good video, keep them coming.
MooMoo Outdoors - 🤔 I’m pretty sure... but I will double check the next time we go out. I wish we could collab with you some day. You seem like a really down to earth dude who loves to fish and we have always enjoyed your content.
Gotta hit the esteros on the opener. After that the majority of dungies are gone because of the easy access. After opening weekend you should be throwing 100'+ imo.
I was out there early that day and met up with mike. the wind was getting crazy, got a few red crabs as well and no dungy so I packed up before the bigger winds and surfs came in.
Man it was pretty windy out there. That lunch looked delicious. I look forward to seeing the detailed cooking video. You said the wind died down, but those swells were still pretty big. I can't wait for crabbing to start over here.
@@MooMooOutdoors I will get one!! New to area from the south, ( Alabama) and in about 3 more months I will be able to get my resident fishing license with plans to come!!!
Nice video! We were also at crab fest this past weekend! My husband is a member of NCKA too. We ended the weekend with just 6 keeper dungies. How did you do at crab fest?
Thanks. Crabfest day was way better than this day. I got 5 dungies but I had to pull my pots in early due to an injury. Crabfest video is coming next Monday 😉 Thanks for watching 👍😀
Nice video!!! Lol I'd never be able to kayak in weather like that hahaha. At least it was warm, here in PA it's 28 degrees out hahaha. Tight lines bro! If you haven't yet, come checkout my latest upload when you can.
Blowdega Bay can't stop the Mooooooo on the water , nice job fun watching on my end haha.
Thanks Rudy. 😆😂 "Blowdega Bay" 😂😆

It was bumpy day for sure 😀
Nice!

To funny looks like your kid was tired and sleeping. Lol being out on the water does that to me too.
He was cold, tired and missed his video games LOL
awesome, looks like a lot of fun, thank you for posting and best wishes for you take care and be well
Thanks Ben
Good thing your family likes those since they seem to be what you're getting the most of. 😜😂
I know right? 😂
Nice bro
Thanks 😀
Excited to get out there in a few weeks. Hope the wind chills out. Worst case we hang out and enjoy everyone’s company.
Hanging and chilling with NCKA family is the best part of the event. See you there Dan.
Your son reminds me of my little brother 😂 Great video
Thanks Nick.

Although no Dungeness, it is still a decent harvest with 13 rock crabs. Very nice. Thanks for the video.
Good thing my family likes rock crab too 😄
Great video as always, nice fishing!
Thanks Marshall

I gonna have to follow you around on Crabfest so I can get some dungies 😝
Splitting the crabs before cooking is definitely the way to go. We hope to get out soon and get some crab as well, so delicious.
I bet you guys got some monster crab up there.
Some years we do, other years it’s hard to find the keepers also. Our size limit is 5 3/4” which I think is smaller than yours though.
@@NorthwestOpenSeason I thought it was 6 inches up there. Cali is 5 3/4.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the input 👍😀👍
The only crab I ever caught were blue crabs out in Louisiana. My mom would eat rock crabs too
They are tasty. They have sweeter meat than dungies 😀
Is that crab splitter something you made or was it purchased somewhere? I want to make or buy one. Excellent video!
This one is bought.

Yeah definitely not so good day for crabbing. Thanks for watching. 😀
Great video, how deep is it outside of the jetty?
Around 20 feet and deeper. I usually drop then around 35-40 fow when I'm soaking outside the jetty.
you know what's the depth near southern jetty wall?
Around 20-25 feet. Thanks for watching 😀
Omg that crab looked so good in that pot lol, awesomeness brother
Thank you Sir 👍😀👍

It was a big swell day to begin with. That's why I didn't feel safe to go out to the deeper water in the morning especially with my son.
Man that was awesome! Looks like a great day despite the wind! Thanks for taking us along and stay blessed!
Thanks. You stay blessed as well 👍😀👍
You whip those hoopnets around like they’re nothing. Glad to see you’re feeling better.👍And nice landing. I thought we were gonna see a yard sale👍👍
Haha I thought I was gonna have a yard sale too 😂

Too many layers for hard pedaling 😝
Awesome video! This is something that I have always wanted to. Maybe one day lol
Come on over to the coast. 😀
Hey MooMoo outdoors what size sabiki hook do you use for anchovy ?little help please,I want to try Tomales bay. Thanks

@@jerrychapman7091 Thanks for kind words 😁👍
Great video MooMoo! How does the revolution handle in those conditions?
I have Revo 11 and it handles pretty well. Revo 13 or 16 will handle even better. Thanks for watching. 😀
i am going there in next few weeks, hopefully weather will be better. your new sub and friend. lets stay connected
Thanks. Have a great time when you get here.
I like the way you prepare and cook your crab. I’ll have to try that out sometime. Great video MooMoo!
Thanks. Much cleaner taste when you remove the viscera before hand. 😀
Have you encounter a seal?
You mean seals/sea lions stealing bait?
That too and mess around with you on your kayak. Playful or aggressive?
You gotta watch this
