I think, in reality, more believers feel this way from time to time than you might think. Even those who are very strong in their faith find themselves in times when it just seems like God is distant or like it's too hard to sustain a life serving Him. The people that you might think have the "secret" struggle too. I'm not saying that to be discouraging, but rather to encourage you that we're all human, we all struggle, and we're all in need of God's grace, which He does give in abundance with so much love for you. He's not trying to catch you messing up nor is He watching to see if you'll fail. He WANTS you near Him. He LONGS for you to be His. Scripture doesn't tell us it will be easy all the time - and I don't know your life to know how difficult it is in your own situation - but I promise that He is worth it . . . and so are you. Keep trying. When you fall, keep getting back up. I believe with all of my heart that you won't regret the decisions you make to serve Jesus or the moments you spend with Him.
