- In 1974, Corrie ten Boom was arrested and sent to concentration camp for her involvement in the Dutch Resistance during World War II. After years of imprisonment and torture, she and her sister were Eventually liberated by British soldiers and transported to England. Here, Corrie ten Boom played an instrumental role in the rescue of Jews from concentration camps and helped save over 2,500 lives.

Corrie Ten Boom lived 9 more years after this interview. Because of strokes she couldn’t speak the last 5 years of her life. She left this earth on April 15 1983 her 91st birthday. 40 years later she still encourages us.

Corrie is so inspiring, she taught many people to trust in the Lord no matter what happens. She is an amazing person.
She thought 1974 the world was cold, gosh. I was 17 then. Now I'm 64 and it's terrible frosty now.
I thought about it, the world becomes darker and darker.
This opinion varies at different places. For example, for Chinese people the past is a horrible memory and they are living their greatest time now. Another example, the British people of 19th century and pre-ww2 enjoyed the most lavish and dominating life but the present situation of Britain is really really different.
Corrie said in 1974 that she thought that was the last generation before Jesus returns. I was born in 1975 my generation isn’t over yet, so maybe she was right.
Yes. I was born in 75 and to me it seems blizzard conditions are increasing. I remember how very different even the 80s and 90s were.
I was born in 1944, and in my 78 years the world has changed a lot. Just the list of changes could fill many books 📚 📖 📕 😮📚

I've never knew about this woman until I was watching a documentary and her name came up. If you have nothing, God can give you prayer.
The Hiding Place is an incredible book. The story in there when she writes down a date concerning an event in her father's life is one of the most profound things I've ever read.
I remember my Mom taking my brother and myself to see The Hiding Place I think about 1970. Dad had just left us and we were broke the movie was free! Jesus just kept getting ahold of my life! I m so thankful! Corrie was a wonderful person! I just read her book Tramp For The Lord.

I read corrie ten booms book when I was a little girl. It moved me deeply. I cried thru out the book. I learned several deep spiritual lessons from her from that book... even as young as I was... especially as young as I was! It was deep for sure.
I just read it the other day at 33 yo. Cried throughout. Especially when Betsie died 😪✝️

I’m watching this now after rereading The Hiding Place. I’m 25 years old. I want to have a relationship with the Lord. I want the joy and peace the Lord has gifted this woman even after all she’s been through. I want the assurance that even in death I will be with Jesus. Please, all pray for me!
The Captain; Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for all our sins. He died for the sins of the whole world! He was buried and rose again on the third day. Jesus broke the chains of death. And he has promised us eternal life to all those that believe in him. Call upon Jesus. Ask him to save you! And His goodness will bring forth repentance!

Dear friend...I read Corrie's story in ' The Hiding Place' about 50 years ago, and it has changed my life. I have reread it many times because it has helped me so very much to understand the truth. I recommend that journey to you as the path is not always easy but you will be equipped as Corrie was in her time on earth

Oh how wonderful I wish I could do that, and be able to write a letter to her and let her know how precious she is and how her testimony and life have inspired my life and that she is my hero in the faith and that I wish I can have a little of her wisdom and courage….. But if for some reason this words can be taken to heaven I would send them to heaven to Corrie!

Corrie Ten Boom is buried just a few miles from my home. I'm going to visit her grave this week.

Hey 700 Club, you need to correct this video description. I'm sure the interview with Pat Robertson was in 1974, but you state Corrie was arrested by Nazis in 1974 and there are a few other errors in this description! 😮
Corrie's sister didn't survive the concentration camp so she wasn't liberated by the British like Corrie. Please edit the year errors and others.

27:30 She said after the whole ordeal that she had no animosity towards anyone, just forgiveness.
She said that she was released from the camp because of a "clerical error." I don't believe that. Either one of the people who she saved didn't forget about it and used connections and put in motion a way to get her out. Or, her time in the camp in spite of maltreatment she hated no one and one of these people set it up where she was freed.

Her dad had some good godly advice. God will give you the power to face trials when you go through them. Read your bible and pray everyday. His word is powerful!!!

I LOVE dear Corrie , however, she was WRONG about Christians going through a part of the tribulation. There is a verse that says that we (Believers/ Christians) are NOT appointed to wrath. And remember, those 7 years will be about God's judgement.

How can a person even wrap their mind around the fact that had those individuals not been heading towards the gas chamber and this woman of God, who wasn’t even Jewish marching that direction with them, they never would’ve heard the gospel and been saved. It was NOT 1974! It was in 1944!!!! World War 2 was not fought in the 1970’s. The movie about her life “The Hiding Place”came out in the 1970’s.
I SAID the movie came out in 1974 because i saw it when it was first released. I KNOW when the second war was as I was born soon after.

What an inspiring, moving testimony, it reaches out 50 years later, a message of hope and strength through Jesus Christ.
She shares the wonderful Grace of Christ but doesn't hold back on the trials , tribulations and abuse that Christians will be confronted with.
I want to recognize and commend the late Pat Robertson, most TV talk show hosts whether Christian or secular always try to insert themselves into an interview until it can be distracting for the guest and the viewer.
But here, Mr Robertson allowed Corrie to speak at length , never interrupting except to pose an occasional question or a brief comment.
Because of this, even after the passage of 50 years, one can see the power of the Holy Spirit working through Corrie and it leaves a powerful lasting testimony that reaches out and touches us today.
