I like how Bolton manages to explain to Amy the ramifications of her accusation against him, and convinces her to tell the truth in front of Kim Campbell who quite rightly gets furious with her for committing such a heinous act.
I like how Rachel Mason admonishing Max Tyler for treating Denzil like a slave (scrubbing the school playground because he cheeked him) could be considered a bonus for doing the right thing.
Close the subject off and move on??!!!! 😳😳 Once again, Max has completely undermined Rachel’s position as to say “I call the shots around here”, the total disbelief on her face at the end shows it. How can Max expect them, including Bolton, to “move” on over a false accusation that could’ve ruined Bolton’s future career. Vile man!!!
yeah, its terrifying that this only happens with 0.001 percent of women, it’s also terrifying that 97 of women and GIRLS, ARE actually assaulted by men, and the men get away with it
Waterloo Road has some truly great characters who are all well-rounded and flawed in unique ways, but Amy is just so insufferable. I'm halfway through Series 6 and she has absolutely no redeemable qualities, and just exists mainly to be a nuisance for more likable characters. They did a similar thing with Michaela early on, but unlike Amy, Michaela actually has some redeemable qualities and we see the way she matures and grows. Plus, her antics were quite funny at times, whereas I don't think I've laughed at Amy's antics even once.
Imagine if conversations like these were allowed eith police supervision. Itd be easier to tell whos lying if u had to face ur accusor and say okay accuse me to my face.
That must have triggered Kim's memory of being assaulted by Lewis Seddon in Series 1 and then not being believed. No wonder she was so mad with Amy!
