  • The Shocking Future Of Asian Basketball...
Do we need any more proof? Because I don't think so… The turning point is behind us. Gone are the days when basketball was historically American heritage. Because today, and maybe forever, we will never see Team USA dominate as they did in the past. To win any FIBA tournament, they're going to have to sweat. And we've seen enough precedents to think otherwise. Now… I have some bad news for Team USA. Because in reality... so far, only the European powerhouses have been able to put them on the ropes. Yes, it is true that teams like Argentina, Brazil or Australia have been immersed in this expansion process for years. Or rather, they have been going for decades. But there are many parts of the world that are still just waking up. There are many continents where basketball has not yet finished exploding. And those are precisely the ones that pose a future threat to Team USA. Now, there is a continent... that is already presenting its candidacy...

Great vid, man. Way to show props to Asian hoops.
Australia with NZ is part of fiba asia because they dominate fiba oceana. They're the only two teams that technically compete for the championship. Hence them being put on fiba asia. They face better competition(I mean they're better than most countries in asia but it's better than oceana competition) and lift Asian basketball better as a whole.

Japan is on the rise! My goodness, they dominate in technology, they dominate in manga/animation/art, they dominate in baseball, they dminate in vide game development, now they're coming for basketball. This country is something else. Much love coming from the Philippines.
