This unit does a real neat job of trimming. I use a gas trimmer but I find it can do damage to trees and shrubs if you are not careful. Also, the gas trimmers can damage vinyl siding. The only downside of this trimmer really is that you'd need to kneel down to trim around the house and yard. I was wandering if you could use it while being plugged in in charge mode? It would be kind of awkward to use but interesting to know if it would work like that. That way, if the battery died, you could always finish the chore before you charge it again.
Hi Andy. Yes i think it runs on charge so i guess you could use a mobile power pack. I think the battery will last most gardens as your only going to use it for small tidying jobs.
I've got these. The big problem is that the battery loses charge after a year of use and also the blades jam very easily if you're cutting thick grass, weeds etc. Nice item but limited in its application. Only buy if cheap!
Fred any other similar items you'd recommend? I'm between this, a black&Decker at a slightly lower price and an einhell which is almost half the price. These are the only that come with a charger. Thank you.
Next video Fred opens a Barbers, use his bosch trimmer, and a 90s retro toys 😀
I'll be the 1st in the queue 😎
Enjoyed your presentation.
Thank you!
Looks like a decent piece of kit Fred.......regards to you and yours mate.....Bob

My mum has a Bosch for years which eventually lost charge. She got a cheaper generic version from Amazon and it seems to work ok.
That’s pretty cool!
I've just bought it ;)
Where can I get it Sir❤?

why isn't it on a pole?
Its more close up use.
They make extension poles for these electric shears
These are for shaping plants and such so it’s not useful to be on a long pole.
Strimmers are a pain in the arse lol but these look good cheers for the video
