    My cord breaks all the time while doing the edge cutting, maybe som stonger aftermarket cord would do the trick? Thanks for the review

    • @PhillWyattProjects
      @PhillWyattProjects  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the flower guard so as not to get too close to things like brick walls. That way the cord lasts longer. Saying that, the cord will wear down with use anyway so you can just pull out another length on the roll. I have never used aftermarket cord with this machine so I could not advise.

    Hi mate, I’ve just installed mine and attached the flower protector. Is the wire supposed to be hitting the wire cutter continuously?

    • @PhillWyattProjects
      @PhillWyattProjects  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi, the wire cutter should cut it flush although it may still make contact with it which shouldn't be a problem.

    How does the semi automatic line feed work? Do you always have to open the spool and pull it? I can’t see that the button feeds any line?

    • @PhillWyattProjects

      There is a little button you can click to release about 1cm of line at a time.

    • @iamaduckquack

      @@PhillWyattProjects A dedicated button? Some wording on their website makes it sound like it released every time you pull the trigger which sounds wasteful.

    Very thorough review thanks Phil. I tried one of the ergonomic versions and found it to be too short, so would cause back ache. I am wondering if this version has a longer stem so the upper handle is higher? As a guide I am 6 foot tall.

    • @PhillWyattProjects

    • @PhillWyattProjects

  • @vladj

    From instruction, I see that it has semi-automatic wire supplying: by pressing each time of run button, it increases wire by 10 mm. But what if I don't want to move out the wire and waste it? Each time I stop and then run, it cuts off 1 cm of wire. Does anyone know how to disable this feature?
