That looks awesome, thanks. I’m in need of a new overlocker. I can’t afford, 5 thread , and air thread. I’m almost 64 , eyesight not as good love sewing. Not sure which would be better buy. Help please 🙏
I have the Elna version which is exactly the same and it does not. You have a pressure foot knob like on sewing machines. But it stitches beautifully. I bought because my eyes aren't so good. Hope this helps.
Am hoping to upgrade from a Janome 6234xl to this machine as my eyes are getting feeble when it comes to threading. Could you tell me if any of the feet I have bought for my 6234 will still fit the airthreader 2000 please? Thank you for such a clear video.
Hello, I'm interested in buying this machine, can you tell me if it would Overlock upholstery fabrics, I run a small furniture restoration business & I do upholstery, I'm using a Janome hd9, & it works really well machining upholstery fabrics, but I'm look for a overlocker to overlock cushions, I don't have the space for a industrial overlocker, would this be equivalent to a industrial machine but in a portable size, last question, is the body of the machine metal like the hd9 or plastic, sorry for all the questions in advance, very well explained video👍
Hi, I threaded the right hand needle using the automatic needle threader but I had trouble threading the left hand needle with the automatic threader, I gave up, put a white piece of paper behind the the left needle ( easier to see the eye of the needle) and threaded it manually.
Julie White I bought this machine today traded my 634D and one of things I love about this machine according to the instruction book , Yes , you can adjust the Foot Pressure to standard for ordinary fabrics, increase for heavy and less for light fabrics , I hope this will help you.
When demonstrating something like threading a machine you need to use coloured threads so the audience can see what you are doing and where the threads are going.
Have had this for months but don't dare use it! Overlockers scare me. Have today finally managed to thread it though, thank you!
Thank you for this well explained video. I have managed to thread an overlocker for the first time. I also learned how to use the needle threader. ❤
Thank you very much for the demo. Very well explained.
Thanks for the demo, it appears to be an easy machine to thread, and very user friendly.
I agree with the current comments and look forward to more demonstrations

Can a person purchase a longer power cord so it can reach the floor and not being to tight???
Having trouble threading the two needles with the needle threader any suggestions
Make sure the foot is down & the needles are as high as they can go. Good luck

Looks great. Have you got it on a special price? I’ve seen it on an introductory offer with £200 off.
It sure is here is the link to the product on our website - www.franknutt.co.uk/janome-air-thread-2000d-overlocker
Does this overlocker auto adjust tensions for different types and thicknesses of fabric?
I believe that the only auto tension over locker might be the Babylock enlighten at £1400. I might be wrong, but Im sure thats what I was told. XX
