Especially important for those of us with hearing aids that pick up the music as noise. Also - please remember that an increasing number of us lip read - even if we ‘know’ we aren’t hard of hearing. Thanks.
This is a good comme t fir accessibility reasons. I hope that they do eliminate that noise. Not only foenthose who are hard of hearing, but haven't too much noise to focus on isntriggering for some migraine sufferers.
My best books of 2024 Nonfiction: A Day in the Life of Abed-Salama by Nathan Thrall and King : A Life by Jonathan Eig as an audiobook. Fiction: No Two Persons by Erica Bauermeister (the power of reading and stories), The Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri (refugee trauma and healing), and Caleb’s Crossing by Geraldine Brooks (historical fiction based upon a colonial Nantucket pastor’s family and the first Native American Harvard graduate) Poetry: The Lost Words by Robert Macfarlane (acrostic nature poems with stunning illustration)
Weyward was one of my fave bks. this year, The Underground by Jennifer Ryan ( not the Underground you may be thinking),The Wager by David Frank and most recently Christmas With The Queen by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb. The music playing during author's interviews was too loud and distracting. Thank you, this was great!
The music is so annoying. I think a shorter version of interviews with authors, or less back and forth on segments. More about the books and recommendations. Fast forwarding comes in handy. P.s. let the man talk more.
The Women by Kristen Hannah and The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon are my favorites this year. 📚
James and All the Colors of the Dark are my favs!
Just found you. Love you the way you are. I’m 81, you make me think about writing again.
I am pleased to have discovered your channel. Would it be possible not to have the background "music" to the authors interview please?
They’ll get on that right away!😂😂😂
