Exactly what I was waiting for! I downloaded your preset and added a Tube Bias Tremelo next to the royal tone to get the “Hold on John” 🍪 sound. It would be great if Fender added the actual ADT effect but this gets the job done. Now I need to figure it out on vocal chain! Thanks Doug!
Thanks Doug. I was just about installing my Mimiq in form of a efx loop as you did in your first example. I just wondered that when you compared both settings the efx loop was not ‚lighten‘ up: was it desengaged? Sorry for this maybe very dumb question of a newbee!
Wow, good catch! I didn't notice that, even after watching and editing multiple times. It was on when I did the demo song tho. Thanks for letting me know!
Heya Dough. I am thinking buying a second TMP for different lovations. What would be the best way to synchronize both TMPs? Via backup? Thanks! You are my TMP hero! 🎉
Thanks 🙏🏻 Doug !!! Good job as usual !!! After contacting you I did contact Fender Tech and asked if they could add The Mimiq and make it stereo. They replied in a day saying they don’t have it yet so it sounds like it’s in the works 🎸🎸🎸 The double tracking gives a beautiful effect and not giving a sort of digital sound from a chorus 🎸🎸🎸 It will be a great addition to the Tone Master Pro especially for the many of us going into 2 amps or FR’s 🎸🎸🎸 Thanks again 🙏🏻🎸🎶
I'm a big user of the MIMIQ pedal, I've stopped double tracking guitars on my last two albums since I got the pedal. I think you made a very good job. The only thing I would be missing is the "Dubs" switch, I dial it at 2 and it gives a quad tracking feel and it sounds massive for what I do (death metal).
Hey Doug, to my ears I preferred your preset. Good job !! TC Electronics have a "doubler" effect I really like........kinda in the same ballpark as these. Thx again.
I'm astonished that the TMP doesn't have any delays that are shorter than 30 ms. 35 ms is longer than what has been famously used over the past 50 to 60 years. Not that some doubling delays aren't longer than 30 ms. 6 to 18 ms is the most commonly used doubling delay time spread. I didthe exact same thing to try and copy what Neural DSP has done withe their amazing doubler effect. The TMP simply needs shorter delay times. Good job.
I think the stereo image was too wide in the DB mimic which makes it sound unnatural. A possible fix could be if the channels would bleed a bit to each other.
Hi Doug, thanks for the info. I was expecting a short explanation about why you added tremolo and pitch shifter to the delayed signal path, may I ask how did you get to that? Thanks
@@DougBsDigitalDen Yes, I know roughly that effect. I have done my own version of the effect with the TMP but never occured to me adding tremolo and pitch shifter, so that's why my curiosity on how did you land on that. Thanks
Amazing video! Thank you! 10 years ago I was using a Boss GT-100 and it had an “acoustic simulator” setting that would make an electric guitar sound like an acoustic. Do you know if the TMP has anything similar? Thanks for the great content!
Hallo Doug, question. When I use switchlink, great feature, say chorus, solo 1 and solo 2. Is it possible that the switch stays on when I by mistake hit the switch twice. For example: I play solo 1 and want to go to solo 2 and by mistake I hit solo 1 That sets the effects choosen in the switchlink off I prefer they stay on. Theo from Holland.
Theo - No, Switchlink is basically just off and on. So if you hit the same footswitch twice, you'll turn that switchlink group off. That is how they designed it to work. Thank you for watching!
Please tell Fender that their delays being limited to 30 ms as it's fastest delay time is not what we need for a mimic'd guitar sound. Zero to 320 ms was possible in the 70's. We need faster. 6 ms is common, and 16 is fantastic. 30 is too long. The capo was a step in the right direction for making a pitch shifter that can track closely. Please ask them to update this.

Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you so much, i am learning history while enjoying discovering my Master Pro
Happy to hear that!
I think you nailed it. Love the channel and content!
Awesome! Thank you!

@@sonic-e-scapes7994 channel is my 🎹side-project 😂
Yes - back up unit #1 to SD card, then take the SD card and pop it into unit #2 and do a Restore
Many, many thanks!!!!!

Awesome. I'm 1 step closer to getting a TMP after watching this.
That sounds good Amigo

Very close match, good job. The pedal was slightly more shiny on the high notes from my ear.

Hi! Your videos are great! Do you think it's possible to set the sound of the YAMAHA UD STOMP effect to FTMP?
Unfortunately not. Thanks for watching!

Christian - the MIMIQ is more than just delay, it also has a slight pitch shift and variable volume bumps and dips. Thanks for watching!

i was doing research on the MIMIQ and read a quote with that info in it.

No, not that I know of. Thanks for watching!
Wow very. close indeed!
Thanks!
Headrush has a great double trackor. The best.
Hearing The Call was cool but for a moment I thought you were going to break into Hot Blooded.
😬
I thought the same thing!

Are you sending this to two different tracks in your daw for each amp or is this just on one stereo track?
One stereo track
@@DougBsDigitalDen Thanks! Great video. Is it possible to send to two separate tracks in a DAW?

A double track pedal that sucks all the low end out of your tone. I have one too and it doesn’t sound good.
