Jon when you go to sanctuary to confront Cicero, summon the brotherhood assassin, he has special unique dialogue for that situation and it might help you decide on what to do with Cicero.
Ancient Shrouded Gloves affect ALL one handed weapons. So you still get the 30X sneak with daggers, and just 12X with one-handed weapons. Secondly, there are a few other shops that also do training. Mostly the mage's college and some of the court casters. Third, Shadowmere is one of the best mounts. He's got a good speed, decent attack, and MASSIVE HEALTH. He's not as immortal as in Oblivion, but if killed he will respawn at the pool a week later. Also, he's a demon horse, not a vampire. Finally, have you looked into getting fiery soul trap on your weapons? Fire damage, and soul trap as one enchantment. Would make filling gems for assassinating people easier. And you can have a second enchantment. Best option I've found is a stalhrim dagger with a chaos enchantment and fiery soul trap.
Since you ask, the Mythic Dawn were the bad guys of Oblivion. They killed the Emperor at the start and opened a ton of hell portals full of demons. Bad people.
They were also all conjurers! They used Bound weapons and armor (Bound Armor was a thing in Oblivion) which is why his museum doesn't have any weapon artifacts, just robes. And I think you'll find that dagger right up your alley, heh heh.

Jon you can charge spells while invisible. So you can charge invisibility before opening a door and go back invisible again. You can even do it before load zones! Hold it down, open the door, then let go before the game starts loading and you'll be invisible on the other side.
I've seen comments telling him this on every episode since he got invisibility and he's either not read them or forgetting. Or.... I suppose this could be recorded weeks ahead of time, but I don't think it is.
Shadowmere is great at keeping Dragons on the ground. When you're outside, it's the best fighting critter you can find. Your ghostly Assassin summon used to ride Shadowmere, back when they were alive. He says the cutest things to Shadowmere, too.
You should have hit the bride in Solitude with the Wabbajack. When I did that she turned into a Dremora Lord and started killing all the guests. Great fun :)
Love the Mythic Dawn questline. The whole Cult were a bunch of idiots to think Mehrunes Dagon of all Daedra was going to bring them to paradise. Still, they were right about one thing, they did get to live forever. You know, while being horribly burnt in lava for eternity :D
Why do you go to Belethor for a pelt when you're right outside Warmaiden's where you can just buy leather? You're not exactly hurting for septims, y'know.
Also going to say, you really should play Oblivion if you're interested in the Mythic Dawn. Not necessarily on the channel, but it really is a better game than Skyrim - and Skyrim is amazing.
yes, but the weapon is rubbish compared to what he has, if he was early game, maybe, but now he can make much better stuff. and the quest is just go there and clean the place as usual.
The ancient shrouded armour is even better than it first seems as wearing the set gives you an extra 25 to your armour rating, obviously it loses it's value when you can enchant as well as you can in the mid to late game
Mod recommendation to improve the night vision. Predator Vision by Gopher is a fantastic mod and provides a much more effective and nicer looking night vision skill.
You can do the train-and-then-sell thing with the Companion's blacksmith too, and all the college mages. Same goes for a couple of Dawnstar members, but you've severed that bridge with the whole pointy fangs thing. On edit: Oh, and an enchanting trainer in the Dragonborn DLC. But that's not really applicable to your character. On edit 2: And Babette and the Whiteun alchemist! I'd forgot about them. Probably because I've never liked alchemy.
Alchemy? Yeah, it is stupidly powerful when you wear special gear to boost it. ... but I've never felt the need for it, besides boosting smithing and enchanting. I end up carrying around a load of them, and then never using the bloody things. Boosting combat skills? Enchanting does that. Healing? Spells have you covered. Poison is powerful, but overkill at high levels and a hassle to reapply constantly. So yeah, me and alchemy don't - no pun intended - mix together.
There is a similar perk mod on PS4 that makes poison last 10 hits on a bow, five on everything else. Certainly makes poisons feel much more user friendly. I usually still stick to ones you find in loot or buy though. My big burly Nord is no flower picker, dammit.
Another way of levelling it super easy is to buy all the ingredients from the Whiterun alchemist, make a load of stuff, sell it to her, and use the money to level the skill with her. Save the game, hit her, and reload to make her inventory reset. Repeat as required.

Hey Jon! Just a tip for Invisibility. Charge the spell before activating an object (door, chest etc) and release the spell in the split second after you activate the object. This way you can be invisible after entering a new area or after you open a door or chest. Good luck!
Don't make the wrong decision Jon, save poor Cicero it actually saves the brotherhood. Please Jon, the entire place gets wrecked and you can't go back if u kill him the story line ends it all. Honestly i hate the ending where you kill Cicero it is just horrible please Jon do not kill Cicero.
I guess it depends on how you view the Brotherhood. For my most recent character, the Brotherhood was just a means to an end: killing an emperor without dragon blood so that a new Dragonborn emperor (my character) could take his place. Because really, the Dark Brotherhood follows a god that literally wants to end existence itself. It's impossible to justify that in any way other than being a homicidal maniac that wants to watch the world burn, so if you're even slightly not that, letting the Dark Brotherhood crumble is by far the best idea.
Jon, here's a tip for using your invisibility. You can hold to charge it, then activate whatever you want (door, loot, button/switch) and immediately release your charge. This will cause you to blink out of visibility. If you get the timing right you can pretty much activate anything in the game in front of an NPC and they wont react quick enough to notice. This also works for load-zone doors.
Jon, the last horse you ride will always fast travel with you. If you don't want shadowmere, summon arvark and ride him, then she should leave you alone
The funny thing with briarhearts is, if you manage to sneak up on tham that you can pickpocket-rip their hearts out for an easy kill~ Just as a random blurb.

Pretty sure the main benefit to "Double sneak attack damage with all one handed" vs "Backstabs do double damage." is the fact that you don't need to get behind the target to do 30x with daggers. Meaning you can stab people who are leaning on walls and such.
Jon, the Mysterium Xarxes (that burnt paper scrap in the museum) is the most important item in the game. It turns into a bucket, Jon. You have to set it on fire, Jon, and BUCKETS AWAY.
Hey Jon. If you want something to do with all that jewelry and all those potions then just sell them to a trader even after they run out of money. You still get speech experience and really it's not like you need the money.
@23:35 - Years late, but the rest of the Red Wave's crew heads up to the bar in Solitude for the evening. @28:00 - And Jon missed the completely obvious foreshadowing by Olava that Jon, Babette and Nazir would be the ones setting up in the Dawnstar Sanctuary at the end of it (though Olava did miss the optional member of their motley little crew). :P
Oh also I totally forgot to mention, it might require a perk in the pickpocket tree, but there is a thing similar to Fallout in that if you reverse pickpocket a poison onto a person, they suffer the effects of that poison. Could make your assassinations even more interesting as you can craft the poisons yourself via alchemy, and I'm sure you could create something that say, ravaged health and paralyzed a target at the same time. The similarity is obviously to the reverse pickpocketing live explosives onto people in fallout.
A tip about horses if you ride one the other that you own stays where it is at. If you use the horse spell horse shadowmere will be where ever she was the last time you road her.
The pirate ship is a thieves guild quest. Where you can buy an item or pickpocket a key from the captain and sneak past the crew to get to the chest. After you've done the main thieves guild questline, you have finish side missions from Delvin or Vex located in each city except Riften 5 times. When you do 5 quests for 1 city Delvin gives you a special quest for that city. Like the pirates in Solitude. Then *spoilers* You get to become guild master with armour, the guild as followers, a chest where you get free 100 gold from the guild that refreshes and stacks, a necklace that almost always passes speach checks and 30 speach and 2 new guild members who arn't followers
You could disenchant the gloves of the pugilist and put the enchantment on a ring and become the ultimate fisting badass (also the kill-cams are pretty fricking cool)
Grelka is not the only trainer/shop in game but for stuff like the mage's college you can sell jewelry and magey stuff to them but you need the Speechcraft perk to sell anything to anyone in order to, well, sell anything you pick up to any trainer/shop Grelka is a general store like Belethor, so she is a good starter point for leveling up Speech
Jon! I did a "How OP can you get in Skyrim?"-Vampire Necromage playthrough once; You NEED to get Necromage in the Restoration tree! Not only does does it affect healing, but all restoration effects! And most *Buffs* are considered Restoration effects! This includes things like: - All fortify skill/stat effects on gear. - Most perks! (ex. Dual Flurry and Quick Shot, basically anything with a percentage works, although you need go get Necromage BEFORE allocating the other perks that you want to boost, or it will not work). - Elemental Fury shout (Will break your attack speed though after it expires, needs to be fixed with console command over and over).
Your magic WILL come back during the day, if you swap your gloves! Your dragonscale gloves have an increase to magicka regen, which allows it to regen during the day if you're a vampire. Same goes for stamina regen, a piece of gear providing that lets it come back during the day too. Alternately, you could change the enchantment on a piece of jewellery to have increased magicka/stamina regen for the same result with less having to swap about.
If you are holding the left trigger when you enter the room, you can let go of the trigger during the loading screen and the invis will start when you enter the room.
The difference is your current gloves make it to where you do double damage when you BACKSTAB. This means you can get the sneak attack with the dagger for x15 without getting the double damage if you're not backstabbing. Whereas the new gloves, if you get ANY sneak attack with your daggers, even from the front, it's always the x30. Also the new gloves have higher armor rating so they're better for that too
He noticed that “Orc Hunter” was an odd name and mentioned it, yet never caught onto the fact it was an Orc Stronghold he was slaughtering. They were ALL orca sir Jon. Perception -1 not exactly friendly ones, half dressed in fur armors associated with bandits but it was in fact an orcish stronghold.
Pirates didn’t always capture ships filled with silver and gold and jewels, A lot of times they just randomly attacked cargo ships and they would get whatever cargo those ships had, cotton tobacco rum molasses sugar spices even slaves.
His entire playthrough was marred by weird little bugs like this and the whole Castle Volkihar introduction. Most likely caused by the Open City mod. There's a reason there are load zones and gates and shit and it's not just because of memory limitations (though that's a large part of it, the load zones are also triggers so by removing them shit gets fucky fast lol)
Potential minor reward spoiler ahead!! Nothing major but thought I’d add a warning anyway The end of the DB quest line gives you access to an unenchanted variant of the Shrouded Armor, so if you found a muffle enchantment then you could have awesome assassin-y armour and have one handed on the boots as well and keep the ancient shrouded gloves for the double sneak attack dmg

The reading basically says the dawnstar sanctuary will be your future sanctuary instead of the falkreath sanctuary and the only members mentioned were nazir and babette. Hint, hint wink, wink. And oblivion and morrowind basically happened within the period of like 3 years.
If you have to kill a Briar Heart, try sneaking up on him and pickpocketing the briar heart from his inventory. Literally pluck his heart out of his chest before he know what's happening. Badass!
Hey Jon keep in mind if you do take necromage it's actually fixed by the unofficial patch which If you have it installed but there are mods on the nexus that un-fix it if you're so inclined

Jon, Nercomage is fixed in the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. It doesn't give the bonus to you. The sneak attack multiplier only effects base damage of a weapon, so that extra 46% from your boots isn't being added when you do a sneak attack. Just stick to the muffled boots when you're sneaking around.

Also keep in mind that if you summon and mount Arvak, Shadowmere will stop following you around and will eventually return to the sanctuary

If you summon your other horse and ride it Shadowmere will be replaced and stay where ever he was when you swapped.

I did the math and it shows that the Ebony dagger at 30x damage does more than the mace at 12x, without taking enchantments into consideration.

Remember to add the enchantments on after the multiplier. So it's base (damage x multiplier) + enchanments
The dagger does just under 1.5x more damage, assuming multipliers only apply to base damage

Oblivion's graphics when it came out were pretty much as good as graphics got at that time. Certainly on a par with many major games of the time.
Oblivion is still miles than Morrowind though... so kinda weird progression of Quality for bethesda.

The trainers at the college are also all vendors. The guy at the forge above the werewolf cave also trains in smithing as well as is a vendor.
All of the professors in Winterhold are both trainers and shops as well.

Jon, the Mysterium Xarxes (that burnt paper scrap in the museum) is the most important item in the game. It turns into a bucket, Jon. You have to set it on fire, Jon, and BUCKETS AWAY.
Hey Jon. If you want something to do with all that jewelry and all those potions then just sell them to a trader even after they run out of money. You still get speech experience and really it's not like you need the money.

@28:00 - And Jon missed the completely obvious foreshadowing by Olava that Jon, Babette and Nazir would be the ones setting up in the Dawnstar Sanctuary at the end of it (though Olava did miss the optional member of their motley little crew). :P
42:10 - Surprisingly, no. You are actually free to collect all three pieces before even speaking to Silius and getting the quest to retrieve them.
All the merchants at the College are trainers and shops, so you can do the "Train and Sell" trick there as well.
Oh also I totally forgot to mention, it might require a perk in the pickpocket tree, but there is a thing similar to Fallout in that if you reverse pickpocket a poison onto a person, they suffer the effects of that poison. Could make your assassinations even more interesting as you can craft the poisons yourself via alchemy, and I'm sure you could create something that say, ravaged health and paralyzed a target at the same time.
The similarity is obviously to the reverse pickpocketing live explosives onto people in fallout.
A tip about horses if you ride one the other that you own stays where it is at. If you use the horse spell horse shadowmere will be where ever she was the last time you road her.

The pirate ship is a thieves guild quest. Where you can buy an item or pickpocket a key from the captain and sneak past the crew to get to the chest. After you've done the main thieves guild questline, you have finish side missions from Delvin or Vex located in each city except Riften 5 times. When you do 5 quests for 1 city Delvin gives you a special quest for that city. Like the pirates in Solitude.
Then *spoilers*
You get to become guild master with armour, the guild as followers, a chest where you get free 100 gold from the guild that refreshes and stacks, a necklace that almost always passes speach checks and 30 speach and 2 new guild members who arn't followers
Enchant your dagger with one second of soul trap. And kill your horse to get rid of it, you can respawn it at the pond if you want.

You could disenchant the gloves of the pugilist and put the enchantment on a ring and become the ultimate fisting badass (also the kill-cams are pretty fricking cool)
Grelka is not the only trainer/shop in game
but for stuff like the mage's college you can sell jewelry and magey stuff to them
but you need the Speechcraft perk to sell anything to anyone in order to, well, sell anything you pick up to any trainer/shop
Grelka is a general store like Belethor, so she is a good starter point for leveling up Speech
Jon! I did a "How OP can you get in Skyrim?"-Vampire Necromage playthrough once; You NEED to get Necromage in the Restoration tree!
Not only does does it affect healing, but all restoration effects! And most *Buffs* are considered Restoration effects!
This includes things like:
- All fortify skill/stat effects on gear.
- Most perks! (ex. Dual Flurry and Quick Shot, basically anything with a percentage works, although you need go get Necromage BEFORE allocating the other perks that you want to boost, or it will not work).
- Elemental Fury shout (Will break your attack speed though after it expires, needs to be fixed with console command over and over).
The unofficial patch removes it.
if Jon wants to fight Pirates, he should do the East Empire Company questline
Your magic WILL come back during the day, if you swap your gloves! Your dragonscale gloves have an increase to magicka regen, which allows it to regen during the day if you're a vampire. Same goes for stamina regen, a piece of gear providing that lets it come back during the day too.
Alternately, you could change the enchantment on a piece of jewellery to have increased magicka/stamina regen for the same result with less having to swap about.

Jon, if you successfully sneak up on Foresworn Briarhearts pickpocket them and take the briarheart from their inventory. HILARITY ENSUES!
The difference is your current gloves make it to where you do double damage when you BACKSTAB. This means you can get the sneak attack with the dagger for x15 without getting the double damage if you're not backstabbing. Whereas the new gloves, if you get ANY sneak attack with your daggers, even from the front, it's always the x30. Also the new gloves have higher armor rating so they're better for that too
The pirate queen has some really nice dialogue

Jon, shadowmere is the best horse in the game, he has way more stamina than any other horse in the game which means he can run basically forever.
i miss camouflage, u could interact with stuff without blowing stealth...
and enchant your gear with sigil stones to be permanently invisible with 115% chameleon
There's two shop/trainers in the Dawnguard too, but that ship has sailed.
The alchemy trainer in Whiterun works similarly to Grelka. Alchemy will be useful in the long run too.
He noticed that “Orc Hunter” was an odd name and mentioned it, yet never caught onto the fact it was an Orc Stronghold he was slaughtering. They were ALL orca sir Jon. Perception -1 not exactly friendly ones, half dressed in fur armors associated with bandits but it was in fact an orcish stronghold.
Pirates didn’t always capture ships filled with silver and gold and jewels, A lot of times they just randomly attacked cargo ships and they would get whatever cargo those ships had, cotton tobacco rum molasses sugar spices even slaves.

Ive never seen red tide empty, its usually got like 4 or 5 people on the ship
His entire playthrough was marred by weird little bugs like this and the whole Castle Volkihar introduction. Most likely caused by the Open City mod. There's a reason there are load zones and gates and shit and it's not just because of memory limitations (though that's a large part of it, the load zones are also triggers so by removing them shit gets fucky fast lol)

The end of the DB quest line gives you access to an unenchanted variant of the Shrouded Armor, so if you found a muffle enchantment then you could have awesome assassin-y armour and have one handed on the boots as well and keep the ancient shrouded gloves for the double sneak attack dmg
I found the Razors Pommel before the Quest was activated.
Was that the one guarded by a hagraven? I've found the hagraven piece and whatever was in the mill owner's house cause I just explore a lot & forget quests
75 parts in and I finally feel comfortable saying: Does anybody else wish Jon would play with brighter settings?? I've asked myself same thing through some of Fallout 3 & New Vegas playthroughs
The reading basically says the dawnstar sanctuary will be your future sanctuary instead of the falkreath sanctuary and the only members mentioned were nazir and babette. Hint, hint wink, wink. And oblivion and morrowind basically happened within the period of like 3 years.

John, necromage will increase all spell effects, including enchantments and beneficial spells.
If you have to kill a Briar Heart, try sneaking up on him and pickpocketing the briar heart from his inventory. Literally pluck his heart out of his chest before he know what's happening. Badass!
Hey Jon keep in mind if you do take necromage it's actually fixed by the unofficial patch which If you have it installed but there are mods on the nexus that un-fix it if you're so inclined
Forward Unto Dan I don't think that was meant to be a bug, and that's one of the few failures of the unofficial patches, so if I get it, I'll also need some patch mod, which will probably be annoying...

Say Jon, if you want a use for all those extra dragon souls you're lugging around... somewhere... there's a mod that lets you spend dragon souls as perk points. Something to consider, though I wouldn't blame you for thinking it's a bit too "cheaty".

Cicero might be the scariest character in Skyrim. He is a murderous clown. That is not something you want to mess with, Jon.
Jon, Nercomage is fixed in the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. It doesn't give the bonus to you.
The sneak attack multiplier only effects base damage of a weapon, so that extra 46% from your boots isn't being added when you do a sneak attack. Just stick to the muffled boots when you're sneaking around.
Dawnguard in Dawnstar, for me Dawnstar is dragon central
Mountain Blade it was for me on ps3 as well. Every time I fast traveled there a Dragon appeared.
It was riverwood for me, dragons were a daily occurance
Basically Jon has been drinking the blood of Skyrim's Momma Murphy, that might explain a bit.
