- bad pokemon investments are bound to happen ! Shortage of sword and shield sealed products, makes evolving skies and other top sets hard to find , so I decided to open some of my worst pokemon investments round TWO!

Okay so this series inspired me to do the same with my investments/collection.opened a box and a tin and pulled the LO Pikachu V and the Gardevoir from SV base🥹 it’s all because of you!!!! Haha so thanks

If that box only cost you $15 it's hard to beat that... 2 loose ES packa alone is like $24.
Exactly. Also I knew I’d be throwing a way money just opening ES packs. I still have 6 of these in storage
Nice 1 Henry! This was a good box and I did not realize the glaceon is worth so much now and I also really like that Zekrom promo. This is a rare ocasion where it paid off to open evolving skies.
But Henry did you see the new 2024 holiday christmas calendar reveal? I would like to suggest you open it everyday and upload the opening as a short video every day in december. Do you think it is a possibility?

I always found the kyurem box to be a safe investment because of the pack variety. Plus the zekrom promo is like 3 bucks. One of the better collector boxes
I believe it’s a great box to open and just have fun, but to consider it a good investment it has to be sold for profit. These collection boxes do horrible , especially just plain ones like this with no figure or alt art

Why is this a bad investment? This is about as solid an investment as modern stuff gets if you paid retail or less. If you only paid $15 for it, then you’ve already doubled your money in 2 years. I can’t think of too many modern products that would’ve done better.
True but finding a buyer for these boxes are tough. Look at previously sold popular collection boxes. Very low
@@HenrysPokeCorner that’s why you should sell the contents and not the entire box. When I buy collection boxes, and I don’t think I’m alone, I always pay for what’s inside the box and not a dime more for the box itself. Not to mention packs and promo cards are much cheaper and much easier to ship whereas you’ll be stuck with selling the collection box locally.
@@HenrysPokeCorner to be clear I’m not saying everything sealed should be sold as loose packs and promo cards, sealed ETBs for example are worth more than the sum of their contents because there are ETB collectors out there willing to pay a slight premium for a sealed box over the worth of its contents. But nobody collect regular $20 collection boxes with a mishmash of packs inside that’s not part of a special mini set, and so I always break down these types of $20 boxes and just keep their contents.
