When Jon picks up that Hot Pocket I could just imagine the guys in the control booth going, "Wait....wait.....don't go to video just yet, make him sweat...."
Thank you, Jon, for making a Ronald Reagan era joke that I got and laughed at, but my 13 year old son just stared at me dumbfounded.
I am now completing the circle of life, where I feel exactly the way my parents did when they made Kennedy and Nixon jokes, and I just stared at them.

Over here in Europe, Subway Buns don't count as bread but as cake because of too much sugar.
Most US bread likely would.
That makes sense. Chemicals and sugar. Many of our commercials here are for stomach issues because we eat this junk.
So I'm assuming US cake would count as just 'sugar' across the pond then, lol.
the FDA in the US also doesn't classify it as bread....
Here in the US we can biscuits cookies because of all the sugar
Jon Stewart is like fine wine 🍷 👌 as he ages. He gets more and more potent 😅😅😂

That Mc Donald Scam is true.. I use to go there three times a day to get those stamps. 12 stamps a day. I filled the board and one sticker was missing on every prize! The missing stickers wer clearly non existant or not in my area.
Fast food has gotten way too expensive. I haven't eaten fast food in over 6 months because "I have ramen and eggs at home" is the only sound financial strategy. McDonald's has forgotten their place as "a cheap way to feed your kids" and they actually think they have quality products. Bring back the dollar menu or use decent ingredients.
Why "or" and not "and" in the last sentence?
Absolutely. It's as cheap and sometimes cheaper to get a burger meal at a pub now.
It’s actually cheaper to eat at a sit down restaurant at this point
I am now proud to take my dates to McDs now. Chipotle for special occasions too😂😅
Been proud off McDs for over a year now. Last time I had it I had a totally normal as it gets experience and the taste/price has caught up to them. Its just salty salt on top of more salt.
Too many fast food restuaruants who can't deal with paying a liveable wage. WAY too many. McDOnalds Subway Burger King Wendys every 6 miles lol. Folks are dealing with $1500 one bedroom rent which is legal crime, spending less on FFood. The fast food market is unsustainable to me. Gonna have to close a lot of restaurants if they don't learn to deal with less profit.
They have to save up for the machines to replace the employees they don’t wanna give raises to
We the ppl go on strike they can't open no money coming in, not just fast food but all businesses shut them down for a bit, they fix it. We can't accept first deal though.

They posted it a few weeks ago but if you’re in the uk like me, it’s not available to you. Which is weird considering this one is.
AI hasnt figured out how to make that show up first yet.
My nephew has worked at all the major fast food places, ice cream, milk shake and tea machines are not cleaned regularly. That's why McDonald's always says their machines are down because nobody wants to clean them. I didn't get away with that at Diary Queen. He also said that out of all them, Arby's did have the most choices closer to real food
I worked at Arby's as a teen in the late '70s and I really liked their roast beef sandwiches. Thought it was far better than Burger King or McDonald's. The beef was an actual roast beef, was cut on a deli-slicer, and the sandwiches were cut to order, they didn't sit around pre-sliced. I haven't lived in the States in over 30 years and probably haven't had an Arby's in nearly 40. Have they changed the beef? I don't get why Arby's is always being disparaged on American late-night shows. Been wondering about this for ages, so I hope someone can let me know.
Never remember real roast beef, always thought it was a little on the rubber side but do like the plain ones with arby sauce occasionally, got sick on the beef and cheddar but I think it was the sauce, big fan of the turkey sliders and the market fresh turkey sandwich
I think we can all agree that our day gets better when this person releases a new video.

I thought they were dating and Jon cheated on Arby's
Managed an Arby’s. The roast beef is actually really lean. If you don’t add all the delicious cheddar you’re fine. Ate there everyday for 4-5 years(was so underpaid but got free meals) didn’t gain a pound

Asorbic acid is probably one of the least concerning chemicals things in Kraft cheese slices. 2:19 😂
Who knows what else is in them right? Those Kraft slices look and taste like plastic. I swear there's no cheese. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is obviously fine. I'm actually surprised they put it in there. It's probably the only healthy thing contained in those disgusting "cheese" slices.
I caught that too. 🙄 (Do you buy cheese slices? I don't, not after reading that the chemical makeup is similar to plastic.)
@@sealyoness I mean, they look and feel exactly like plastic, it does not surprise me that they share a similar chemical makeup with plastics. They're probably just long chain polymers, as all plastics are, but what the monomers are, who knows. They have the texture of plastic. They shine under light. It's bizarre. Yon could probably put one outside and it would stay fine for weeks. I doubt they actually mould like real cheese.
@@jimreily7538 Yes, Jim! Are you into Chemistry?
@@sealyoness I sure am. I love watching jon Stewart. The best host of The Daily Show ever. He and Stephen Colbert are raised the bar on quality comedy and chat/news and political satire shows for all time. Colbert was an excellent and unexpected choice for Tonight Live. Jon Stewart and and Stephen Colbert put bland, old hacks, like Letterman to shame. @@sharontrujillo Of course. Where else would he be referring to?
It's not difficult to avoid fast food if you have no money. (But sometimes I want a fish sandwich that I didn't make myself!)
I lived there as an exchange student. In 13 months, the family i stayed with shared a home cooked meal 7 times, holidays included. Rest of the time, everyone just ate fastfood in the car at different times.
The highschool cafeteria meal was pizza with fries and a doughnut with chocolate milk.
Lucky for me i have a super high metabolism, or i would have become obese too.

I worked at Arby's in college. Arby's does not sell roast beef! And they never actually call it roast beef. They call it Arby's, trademark, roast beef. I unloaded their trucks. 40 lb rectangular boxes. Labeled 15% roast beef something like 50% hamburger and the rest was fillers and soy stuff. Clever that they never call it roast beef. It's absolute garbage. Not like McDonald's strawberry shakes which has no strawberries and no dairy.

When you bake azodicarbonamide it produces nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and ammonia... just like the rotting corpse of a vegan does. The main issue is that often the bread in the ovens at Shortway never get the interior of the bread to the correct temperature because that'd require subway pay someone an extra $2.50 a day to bake them a little longer and wait for them to correctly rise. The correct temp is 392F and you KNOW those hot boxes aren't doing that.
