every new generation of Django guitarists keeps getting worse, thats why I admire the old guys Stochelo, Fapy, Romane, Tchavolo, Lousson, Joseph, Tchan Tchou, all the way to get to Django,,, but let me tell you I'm from this new generation but not like them I'm more similar to Joseph and Django Reinhardt, if given the chance I will prove this and make every body happy with my playing which is that of the 30s, 40s and 50s.
Al Moncada sorry but I don't agree at all. Different doesn't mean worst. Stochelo is from a different generation of Fapy. Stochelo very much like Adrien and also Antoine Boyer and also from is family Paulus Shafer. There is a lots of talent in the new generation. Musicalement, patrus
Music is like wine my friend, if you see me play and knew what type musician I am and that I speak truth then maybe youll believe my words, I dont blame you, a man can only judge music by his kniwledge in music, you donot hear music like Mozart, Beethoven, Django or myself hear it.
+Al Moncada When u have to prove yourself in music and u are like as u are in a race,then you are not a musician,sorry.Music is such a very personal thing and after all is a family to all musician,cause this is the jams.All generations of gypsy jazz ,have AMAZING players from all the countries.
