    WOW... SO many things in this vid. 1. Playing is sublime. 2. Who knew a Tele could cover all those bases? 3. What GREAT guy! 4. At nearly 75% through I learn that it's all a Kemper, and it never occurred to me that a guy like this would be using anything other than a valve amp. I had a Kemper, but was forced to sell it for financial reasons, and I still miss it, but nice to be reminded that it wasn't a mistake to buy it! And 5? Yes, someone said you should hire him to teach Rob clean tones. Sorry Rob, but yes....

    2022: I ordered from Fender the American Ultra Strat HSS in Ultraburst. I love it. The finish is beautiful, so is the neck colour and the gold frets top it all off. A beautiful, great sounding and playing work of art. AND, I didn't have to pay $$$$ for "team built" (after all, isn't the standard production group a "team" also) or the custom shop, I got it off the production line as perfect as they can do. I'm totally satisfied. You guys play beautifully. Love It! Thanks

    What is there not to love about a Telecaster it is such a capable guitar. It is the best all around sound on the planet it can get as dirty as you want, get funky, chime out jazz, and then twang for country goodness. Anyone who is a player needs to have one in their Arsenal. I played in a Metal band in the late 80s using a Tele, a Kustom tube head, Boss Flanger and distortion pedals, and 4x12 vintage 30 cab. Telecasters do it all.

    1st off, thank you for all your videos. After watching your last video on the strat/tele ultras, I got a HSS strat ultra for Christmas !
    It is the best strat I’ve ever played. Yesterday I played it for 5 hours til I was getting a bit tired. I decided to grab my 1991 strat plus for a second to feel it (previously my favorite guitar)., as nice as it was, my hands were way too tired to play it like I was on the ultra. IT is AMAZING!!!!! I am buying the tele too here this year... I’m 46, and it is a pleasure to pick up such a fine instrument ...thank you Fender!

    • @metalmover
      @metalmover 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nguquaxanguyen5224 , yes I have, I am 5 miles from Suhr....not impressed at a company who isn't original in any way whatsoever...their deisgn copies are nice...but it doesn't change what they are...a tweak of another design. Glad Fender stepped it up. I would say these Ultras are 10x better than those boutique guitars. Strandberg is my neighbor too...and I could say some things about them as well. Suhr and others are good in a sense that they pressure the industry to do better....other than that, they will always be small. I know this because I manufacture a product that is made on CNC machines in my shop....Im boutique too, but I wouldn't be making copies of my competition and calling it mine...that is very pussy.

    The best guitar I’ve ever played is a Mexican made Nashville Telecaster from 96 with a fender custom tele neck. I have played many Les Pauls, strats, even a Majesty by Music Man and a 1994 Artist series PRS made by Paul himself. But the Mexican Tele takes the cake. 60 cycle hum and all.

      My wife just bought me a Mexican Nashville telecaster for Christmas and its incredible! Vintage noiseless pickups are awesome, best guitar I’ve ever played!

      @@justinak517 MIM is the way to go. They are so good it's not worth buying American.

      Sean I tried an ASAT semi Hallow. It played really nice but I just didn’t like the way the white pick ups looked on it. They were the size of P90s but they had a different name. Plus I really like the metal bridge on Teles for some of my finger picking techniques.

    I think he was saying Kurt Elling when he was talking about the jazz gig he would really like to be called for.

      Yep. Elling is a genius. John McLean, who's been playing guitar with Kurt for years, is one of my all-time favorite players. John's a fixture of the Chicago jazz scene. His solo albums are great, and he played some magical stuff with Patricia Barber.

    As a Kemper user I would of loved to find out what profile he was using. Anybody know by any chance?

    So all the sounds he played were just guitar direct into the Kemper? No pedals as he mentioned he normally adds in front? Sounds amazing! And super tasteful playing! Sei bravissimo Luca!!! Nice to discover Luca and to hear the guitar and gear he’s getting his tones with. I had a Kemper but sold it cause it just didn’t feel as good as an amp with pedals but after hearing Luca, I regret selling the one I had. Anyway great video! Thanks
