I was wayyy lucky enough to catch Shahid and Tabbal live with other group, in Ann Arbor, many years ago. These dudes are fabulous! They push James Carter to new heights ... This is great! Thrilled to find it. Love James Carter.
Javon Jackson has held his focus; hasn't been intimidated - a la Branford Marsalis sometime ago; has done his thing as well as he knows best. Organizational orthodoxy is fixedly his game - no extraneous chaser or inedible hors d'oeuvres. James is his bad-as-ass self; the once-in-a- lifetime prodigy is he with his tsunami of thunderous notes in agile somersaults. Excellent communicative interplay amongst great artists. Thanks for posting!

If I was a saxophone player on the stage with James Carter I'd fake a heart attack just before my solo!

Javan Jackson has a much better sound and coole phrasing 😎
No sign of Lester.
Lousy sound they have.. too long solos, not matching their skills.. crap.
They’re probably a lot better at the sax than you’ll ever be at anything in your entire life
