My daughter heard Maggot Brain live in 2018 when P. Funk played in Odense. Blackbyrd McKnight was playing it and she was totally in love with the live version. So a few months later taking her to see Blindstone and they dedicated the track to her was my evening made right then and there. Though not Eddie Hazel that played the original and big shoes to fill, I can say without doubt, that for anyone out of P. Funk, no one can play it like Martin J. Andersen and Blindstone. My daughter and I truly loved it, and I know the original version. Never miss a chance to see Blindstone do Maggot Brain. Highly recommended for sure
