Not the same experience with the 908 2nd gen (small boot + EU 41-42 2nd gen Sway Soul). Although the holes could line up, the boot was rocking and not sitting flush in the soul kit when I got the holes aligned. Had to do quite a bit of dremelling on the inside of the soul kit side walls for the boot to stop rocking and be able to sit flush
I put the new sway soul plate on my Them 908 (2nd version) XS with the 37-40. It fits, hard to screw the screws in the front boot (not much space to put the female receiver inside), rest fits well, barely drilling. I think it was also fitting on the 909 XS too, but it would need some filling on the side (where the grooves are), so I put the soul plate on the 908.
Did you have to Dremel or drill anything for the xs boot. I want to try the sway 2 soul on the xs 909 and want some more information about it before I buy it.
I was just wondering if I could do this! Bought the Farmer Sways and loved the soul plate but the boot profile was too tight for me. Figured I might try buying a Them boot and repurpose the Sway plate.
Depends on the size.. 41/42 sulplate fits the small them boot. Holes for hardware line up perfectly. Bigger sizes, you'll need to do abit of customization
@Lemonwedges where was the boot too tight at? I got blisters on my arch’s from the new sway allstars(essentially the Farmers in diff color way) feeling that they are tight
@@JSteez5024 yeah mine are tight in the same spot. It's just a slim profile like the Roces M12s. I'm debating whether to heat gun them or cut my losses and resell them.
@@L3monwedges I have the same problem with the sway (throne) boot. The widest part of my foot is the arches 😅 sways and mesmer hurt to much to skate. I've even tried heat moulding and pushing out the boot.. it helped a little bit but still to uncomfortable after skating for 30 mins
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW damn, then it's probably not worth the effort for me to try heat molding them either. How do Them skates feel in comparison? I want a pair but they're so expensive I don't really want to take the risk on a $300 boot and get the same fit problem I have with the Sway.
I try this soulplate on the Them 909 Medium and i need to mod them à lot. I skated this 3 session and i got too much clacking sounds. I just not search something to absorb the sounds. Now i just put the V3 soulplate and im happy with that but the Them skates are not what i prefer but my Best setup is like this Low cuff setting Reign V3 liner(11 in medium) with a flat insole under the liner to fill the boot OG large frames Dead anti-rocker, i try à lot of flat setup and i just have more fun with anti! Orange wheels 59mm 92a, i am so unlucky with undercover and Dead wheels i got à lot of vibration, i skated for 23 years and never have à single problem with vibrating wheels. The best wheels i got this year is Orange wheels and Red eye wheels!!
Hows the low cuff setting? Yeah, it's taken me a long time to dail in the 909 to how I like to skate. It's all personal preference 🤷🏾♂️ haven't tried orange wheels but I love redeye 🔥
As a community we are accustomed to light dremmeling and drilling holes in brand new skates 😂 I think USD have been quite accommodating there, all good 👍
Na.. I don't know... all I know was it quick and it held it speed enough for me to like the air I was getting without having to spend heaps of energy. It's winning for me.. I like to skate 62mm for anti to make up for the speed
they actually look good on M12s, there are a couple of photos of people who have done it on the Bladesetups instagram page! I'm looking to throw some on my M12's in the near future so I'll try and post somewhere for you guys to see if I manage it :)
The bails at the end are everything 😂. That is one frame I need to try with 55mm wheels.

You just have to remove the cuff Bolt and flip the insert that are on the boot.
My ankle feel more free and i find the ledge or rail more easily that way.

How'd you find the acceleration and coast speeds of the 55's compared to antirocker 60's?
Could get up to speed real quick, but coasting felt like riding 58 anti
