Omg. This is what I’m looking for. Was afraid of the same problem and wanted to use the paper for dark fabric but wasn’t sure if it would work. U are 👍
@@savagegalcustomcreations9721 hi. I'm pretty sure this a long shot, but I have a question I ordered a pair of shoes with a transfer picture from a girl on Etsy. One came out really nice but the other decal tranfer is a little jacked up. Part is wrinkled and a piece isn't stuck to it at all. Is there anyway for me to peel it off and replace it? Thank u so much if u get the opportunity to respond.
@@Shay-cw5dr I never removed it before but you can just print the image on dark transfer and apply it over the image similar to what i did in this video
Cute! There are smaller irons to use. I've also seen someone use a flat irons...yes....a flat iron. Many sizes that can be used for the smallest projects. Or...the wood burning tools and its many pieces that can get into crevices that a regular iron cannot get into.
I used the dark on other projects before and knew how good and different the images where. So i wanted that same look on the shoes and decided to improvise and it turned out perfect.
Well, you need a editing software on your computer to be able to create and edit your design to the size you need, then a colored inkjet printer and iron or heat press.
Hey I was wondering if you could help me, I'm really stuck on what transfer paper I can use on shoes (the likes of air force 1s) I'm from the uk but any help would be appreciated
I'm not sure what kind you can use for that type of fabric. I only work with canvas shoes like converse. And i used transfer paper for dark fabrics. No specific brand.
Hello! I came across your video, it is amazing! I just had two questions. Are you sealing with anything after?.. I know its been a couple of months how are the shoes holding up?
Hi! Question earlier i tried using a heat gun to put on my transfer vinyl paper into my air forces but it seemed like the image started to bubble and burn before the image started to even gain color . I was using a heat gun directly on the paper . Any tips for me ? :(
What machine do you use to print and cut I am struggling right now to find a machine that works with my phone via bluetooth and prints so I can air brush stuff on shoes got any suggestions?
I used a inkjet printer to print the image and i just cut off around the image with scissors. But if you don't want the background of a image the use a cutter. You will have to read the instructions on the cutter to see how to print and cut.
Technically you can but the quality will probably suck. Think about if nike glued the nike sign on your shoes vs them putting the nike logo on with heat as they are now. The quality will suck.
Once you design your image on your computer, you will then print it on the transfer paper according to the instruction that comes with your transfer paper.

Im always going to use the dark fabric paper to create my shoes and such. The image aways come out perfect
I found the same with tshirts. The "for dark" paper works best for everything! Sneakers is my next project!
Yes it does. The other paper for light fabrics is a hit or miss if you don't have all the right tools and heating equipment

That's awesome to know. I will invest in a smaller iron, lol. I used the flat iron before but didnt like how it melted or marked up the underside.
What a great video. Thank you so much for sharing it!!
Thanks. I'm glad you found it.
What transfer paper did you use?
To be honest, i just chose any brand that was in the store, as long as it was for dark colors.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! They are cute shoes!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I use a hp envy 5000 inkjet
What made you try dark fabric transfer on a light shoe?
I used the dark on other projects before and knew how good and different the images where. So i wanted that same look on the shoes and decided to improvise and it turned out perfect.
What all do u need to do this just the iron and that paper?
Well, you need a editing software on your computer to be able to create and edit your design to the size you need, then a colored inkjet printer and iron or heat press.
I love love your video!!!
Thanks
Weekday kind of transfer paper do you use?
no specific brand, just any transfer paper for dark colors

I took that piece off
Hi what size did you print it out
The shoe is a size 5.
Hello!! How did you scale the picture before you print it
@@2121yvette i measured the area first then i used my publisher app to design and scale the image before printing.
What brand dark transfer paper did you use
Don't remember the brand. I just used whichever one the store had.

@@savagegalcustomcreations9721 Thanks, whats the name of the paper you use and where can I get some of it ?
I used transfer paper for dark fabric. You can get it anywhere crafts are sold. Walmart, hobby lobby, ect..

Actually years😂😢
@@angelica8488 I don't seal with anything. Those shoes last forever.

Try modge podge
@@savagegalcustomcreations9721 thank you ! I will try to seal it then !
Hi , is sublimation paper ?
nope, just regular dark transfer paper.
If I use dark transfer paper on the whole shoe will it still come out nice?
Can I use this same technique on faux leather like air forces?
I never did this on faux leather. I would say test it on some cheap faux leather shoes to see if it work.
Is that printable vinyl paper or just the normal heat transfer paper?
The normal heat transfer
Thank you, the white paper is a HEADACHE
Glad i could help. Let me know if you're having any other HEADACHES
What machine do you use to print and cut I am struggling right now to find a machine that works with my phone via bluetooth and prints so I can air brush stuff on shoes got any suggestions?
Ray Pfefferle Cricut air 2

Is it water proof or do you add something to make it water proof
You know what, I'm not sure.
My clients say they wear these shoes for years and they still look the same so I would say they are great quality and is water proff
Proff
can you use glue instead of an iron ?
Technically you can but the quality will probably suck. Think about if nike glued the nike sign on your shoes vs them putting the nike logo on with heat as they are now. The quality will suck.

You're welcome!!
Where do you get your sneakers from?
Any store that sells converse.
what's the brand you used
I just grab any brand i say. As long as it's for dark colors.
HOW DO YOU HEAT PRESS THE TONGUE OF THE SNEAKER?
i used a regular iron. the tip of it to get the hard to reach areas.
What size is your picture
I measured the tongue of the shoe
Hey there is there any way i can chat with you i am very interested in doing these shoes. I love them and need your help thanks
Sure. What questions do you have?
What brand paper did you use? I'm using it for one of my outfits. Lol
I threw the envelope it came in away. I just picked up the cheap brand, it was about $10 from walmart. Any transfer for dark colors will do.
@@savagegalcustomcreations9721 Thank you. I tried it and it worked! Wasn't hard at all.

How do you know the right size to measure on the tongue of shoe
How’d you get the image on the shoe??

Does the image stay for a long time?
It lasts a long time.
