    I and some family members of mine have purchased the new Outlander 700s. I have a 2024 Outlander Max 700 DPS 700 G3L and I would have to say that it is the best ATV I've ever owned. I've had two Kawasakis, a Polaris 500 and I currently own a grizzly 700. I have this Outlander 700 a few months now and it is an absolutely amazing quad. It has just a little more power than the grizzly 700, it's much quieter, much cooler on the legs and much more comfortable. The power steering is stronger even on the medium setting. The shifter is super easy to move and the new clutch appears to be flawless. It operates every bit as immediate and smooth as the clutch in the grizzly. A vast improvement over the previous clutch. I'm not going to sit here and argue that a Can-Am is better than a Yamaha is better than a Honda is better than anything else. I can just tell you that I do love my grizzly 700, but the Can-Am Outlander 700 G3L that I have is a much more pleasant ATV to ride. Oh, the engine is super smooth and there's no popping or backfiring like on the grizzly that pisses me off so much.

    Bump steer is the change of toe as the suspension cycles.
    What your talking about is just steering feedback. Good video.

    I LOVE my HD7 pro XU.
    One small thing that might need adjusting on mine is the gear shifter sometimes doesn’t quite go into gear and the display will show a “-“, instead of the gear it’s supposed to be in. Small fix I’m sure, and it’s usually just a small wiggle of the shifter to correct it.

      Probably just a simple linkage problem. Mine is smooth as butter so far. Same model as the video creator, right down to color. Only 3 weeks in, but it’s such a big upgrade over my 2020 Brute Force and my 2016 Grizzly (I still own both). I have a Defender HD10 for the farm, for hauling feed and tending to my deer crops or all the little things a tractor doesn’t do well, and Ive already been using the Outlander with a trailer more often than the sxs. It’s comfortable, it tows really well, I love the accessories I got for it, especially the gas can and rotomolded cooler for long days out riding. And the chainsaw attachment! Best new accessory by far! The linq gun case is incredible as well

    The new Outlander is nice congrats on your purchase. Lots of good features, and lots of storage. Storage is my main gripe on my CForce 600, lack there of.

    selling my 2011 rzr 800s and thinking about buying a 700 dps or the xt . Trying to stay as cheap as possible but want powering steering .i was looking at buying a rzr 900s or even a 1000 but in the 10-12k price range i’m looking at crazy high mileage vs a new atv . I know it’s apple to oranges but sxs are pricey

    I'm curious if you do any trail riding? I'm trying to figure out roughly how many miles to a tank you can get on this HD7 pro as I'm looking at buying the exact. I mostly do trail riding of 20 to 35 mph in high range. No mud or rock crawling in low range. So if you have an idea on how many miles you get to a tank in those conditions. I'd be very thankful.

      I exclusively trail ride with it though I’ve never check how far I get on a tank. Doing a riding trip this coming weekend so I’ll do my best to remember to see what it gets!

    The engine/trans gearing on the newer Honda rubicon DTC low range 4x4 is only 1-3mph going down steep hills did you notice what your mph was doing the down hill engine braking test

    What's the top speed of that 700. I'm considering can am 700 and kawasaki brute force 750. Thanks

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      On a flat straight stretch it’ll do near 70. Takes a bit to get there though. It gets to 55 decently. The v-twin of the brute will have better top end power and get there quicker.

      I have the same machine, and I just did my first trail ride with it. I'm still breaking it in, but I had mine up to 63, and it had some more left. The differences between my gen 2 570 dps and this is night and day. It also has class leading suspension travel, ground clearance, and max towing, among other things. Definitely the best in class for the price.

    The new 700's are exactly how I wish Honda would move towards, because the 700's is basically just a better 520/700 Rubicon on steroids.

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Honda has a good 700 class motor, they just need to ditch the 3 speed torque converter trans they par with it. Give it the 5 speed of the 500/520 pioneer and it would be twice the machine! Thanks for commenting!
