I would hope in the future you might consider adding onto the tiny house, you do have plumbing, shower and toilet, a washer dryer hookup ..extra space is all you would need for any upcoming children and grandchildren and other company you have to live comfortably..You are doing a great job ..❤❤❤

For your rabbits - freeze water in pop bottles and put in the pen with them. Switch them out twice a day. It helps them keep cool and will reduce your heat-related deaths.
I also do this! I use 2 liter bottles of water so I only have to put one in each day!
Our heat index was just 126 and I used frozen water bottles to help keep my rabbit cool.

I've been watching the channel for a good while, and I'm so sorry you are going through this on your breakup. Don't get disheartened in this. It's very rough, but what doesn't break us makes us stronger and wiser. You're not alone either. You have family and friends that think the world of you. Also, I'm proud of the fact that you have Rider and that you think the world of him. Rider has really has been a big help to you. Rider is a lot like our black cat that we have, plus the one we had for 17 years thats no longer with us. Hey David, sorry that it's been a really rough week for you. Eclipse, Ryder & Midnight know that Dad has had a bad week & are giving you all the love they can because they all know that you love them . Stay positive!
Mini splits come precharged for 25 feet of line set. No soldering is required since it’s a self contained unit. You shouldn’t have needed to draw a vacuum since the system want opened. Adding that suction line wasn’t necessary unless it needs recharged in the future because it only comes with high side connection is the liquid side. That’s A/C101

Young man, There are times in our journey. That test you. At the age of 30 I was a pipe welder at the Houston chemical plants. Had a 3 year old daughter and a son on the way. I lost my right eye working on my truck. In the hospital my superintendent told me I had a job. David I had a 42 year career. Things do get better. Bless you and much respect Texas

Look David, first-time viewer here. Folks have been saying you have dodged a bullet. Indeed. I will add this; You were 100% in this for the "we" of your homestead plans, goals and objectives. Homesteading, off-grid type living is not for the faint of heart. It requires teamwork and commitment (as you already know). Someone on any team that is more about the "me" than the "we" is not just dodging a bullet, its a lifelong win.

I been wanting to go off grid. My now bf is against it. When people end up wanting different things in life it makes it very hard to be a couple. I am glad you are sticking to the off grid living and living tiny. Taking one step forward and three steps back seem to happen a lot in life. I am hoping life will take a change that allows me to live my dream. Love the looking at the positive and finding a positive everyday.
Good luck, We never know what god has for us around the corner. Most times it was not what we wanted but is 10 times better for us in the long run. Every day you need to change bunny water otherwise they will be left with warm water during a heat wave. They need COLD CLEAN water. AND you should also be giving them fresh clover or greens every day.

About your rabbits. That metal roof has got to be like being boiled in an oven. Maybe this would be a simple solution. A thick piece of Styrofoam on top of the existing roof and a larger piece of metal on top with more overhang all screwed together. Oreo cookie roof. You wouldn't have to modify what you have. It should keep them much cooler IMO.
Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Sometimes the Lord shuts the door, but then he opens a window. So wait for that window to open. Continue on with your positive attitude and setting up your Homestead. I’m so happy you have family right down the road from you.

The right person will appear when you less expect it too. 2 months after that break up I met my husband we have been together for 29 years and married for 21. I hope Solar panels are coming up soon on the to do list. I know, I know, everything costs money, but it would be a blessing to have two good sources of power. Simple living Alaska recently upgraded their solar and did it on top of a container. They have a unique sun and weather situation out there, where the best sun of the day means their panels are almost straight up and down. That also eliminates most of the problems of any snow accumulating. I know you don’t get much snow but you do have tall trees which give you only a certain time for sun. You should look at their build.
I’ve had many struggles in life. Like you I try to handle them with grace. Someone once said, don’t you just want to kill him for breaking your heart? I said, no one is worth going to prison and it’s been him and God now.
They were puzzled by my sincere ability to let it go but I figure I’ve only got a set amount of years on this earth and I’d rather not sit around being bitter. So I really appreciate seeing you trying to find your happiness in a challenging time which would beat a lesser man down.

My daughter's rabbit died of having large teeth. Many rabbits's teeth grow and grow. They need a block to grind their teeth on to keep them filed. Yea, our other rabbit died of a heart attack because our neighbor's dog jumped over our fence to try to get at it. Anyway, so heartbreaking for the breakup. All the hardships you are going through, makes my hardships fade away. Oh and, all that salt and sugar in your mixed drink you got there, ain't good for high blood pressure, just saying. Thanks for sharing this video and doing your best to be positive through it all. Gives others hope to move on in life with all the lifes ups and unexpected downs.
I know you are already past it and have your reasons, but I would have just pulled down that section of sheetrock and added wood to mount the unit. Looking forward, something to think about as you plan.

I started doing something this year that has really helped me on my perspective. Instead of saying, "Why did this happen TO me?" I've changed it to, "Why did this happen FOR me?" Just changing that one word has made a difference in my perspective over difficult situations. Best of luck!
