In srilanka it has very close this leyli story. It is king pandulabaya. The tower now no more as more than thousand year lapsed but basement can be seen.

It was the most beautiful city back then and it is even more beautiful now. Beautiful city and people and of course the famous cuisine, there is no better. I still make all the dishes at home. It is so sad to see a country which has such a beautiful culture like that. I think 1$ is about 40000 Iranian money which shows an economical crisis. The country has a lot of oil and gas resources but can't develop properly.
