Conspicuous use your straightener at 200C hold it as it’s hot, blow at it until it cools down and it should stand the way mine does. Also don’t take too much of the hair at once.
hi! I'm kinda new at this and I was wondering: how do you store your stylized wigs? how to not ruin the hairstyle while storing it? I thought of putting it on the wig head stand and let it hanging on my shelf, but I don't really want it to accumulate dust..
saltedpizza I guess everyone store their wigs the way fits them the best. I have 3 wig heads. Usually two of them are occupied by wigs I can’t store in a box or a bag (wigs which have a prop in them, have a hard glued part or such) and the third head is always for a recent wig (cosplay I’m about to do). The rest of them are always in boxes or bags with names on them. If you contact me on my Instagram I can show you examples if that’s any help for you.

If you are starting styling wigs yourself I think it’s a great idea of getting pre-styled wigs. It will help you out if you study them out. Later I would suggest starting from the scratch. Also don’t give up if you end up disappointed in your wigs. It takes time to learn so don’t be hard on yourself. For any more info or tips contact me on Instagram. ❤️
Katie Nguyen Kirishima’s Hero name is “Red Riot” and his hair is definitely red so I think red colour wig would do the best. Coscraft wig is deep red colour which is very beautiful!
I really want to do kirishima but id rather do it with his hair down. The wig i bought is just too heavy and uncomfortable so do you have any suggestions on what I could do? I think i could still use the wig you use but I'm struggling lol. Im also new to cosplaying so that could also be an issue
I say do what you find more comfortable! Don’t forget cosplaying is a hobby not a job (unless you’re getting paid) so if you think Kirishima with his hair down is better for you then go for it 💪🏼 a wig being heavy means really good quality so you most likely paid a pretty penny for it

You mention in the description that you don't like Arda's lacefront for this (I assume you mean the Morpheus classic wig) and I was curious as to why. Like just price wise or thickness wise or customer service wise? I ask just because the Saiyan wig in red is out of stock and a quick scan of the comments makes it seem like it's been out for around five months and with Coscraft closed for the whole world-wide, deadly pandemic thing, it might be a very long time until they restock. I'm looking for alternatives and Arda's lacefront Morpheus or non lacefront Malinda seem to be front runners. Thank you so much for your time and amazing tutorial. I hope you and your loved ones are safe during this trying time.

I haven’t checked my TH-cam page in awhile but here’s the reason why I don’t like Arda lace front wig for Kirishima: My good friend from Canada did Kirishima cosplay and when we met I asked him where he got his wig which he told me that it was from Arda. The wig was extremely thin even if friend of mine had wefts added into that wig. Next time when I arrived to Canada I styled and gave him a Coscraft Saiyan wig and he loved it. I've never ordered from them before. I can't even find their official website. I can see they sell on Amazon, eBay and Wish. There are also no reviews from the other cosplayers online, so in the best scenario your wig is going to be thick in front area and very thin in the back area. No matter what I do I can't seem to get my wigs hair to stay up like yours does when you straighten it...

Conspicuous try and tease it by brushing it the opposite with a teasing brush 😊

For normal/cheaper wigs, I use 80°C and it works pretty well

It's to close up where you can see the beige bit of the wig cap (holding the hair) so it looks nice and put together and not as fake

Gay Idiot yes you can but outcome won’t be the same. Lower quality wigs tend to have very little hair to work with so your wigcap end up showing. 😖
