Dear Graham Parker, Thank you so much for a channel that I can trust to allow my children watch and even study as an example of great content, great entertainment and great cinematography, WITHOUT crude language, poor taste innuendos and unnecessary trumped up drama. Except for the ads. In the US, we are getting a slew of ads to improve a man's "tool". It's everywhere on TH-cam, all channels. It's awful.
@@iflan09ads aren’t really based on the current video of channel, they’re usually based on your settings and search/watch history for the account you’re logged into (TH-cam can even use Google search history for targeted advertising), so if you’re getting ads you don’t want you could try blocking those advertisers/topics or using a different account

He's so infectiously positive. A few of his videos make such an impact on my mood, depression, anxiety.. and really helps focus on the positive and moving ahead. He's a very positive, therapeutic soul to be exposed to. I think that's another gift he may not realize he has, along with the amazing talent at his job and producing these videos. He's a healing soul, I think.

@@Axel_.313I am from America where we have our own accent and dialect where we can tell what area they live. But, I understand what you mean about their dialect. It is unique. We watch a show on BritBox where their panelists come from a broad area bringing several different accents. It gives you an awareness of people and the history of that language.
You don't get enough credit for the production of these videos. Clear videos, sound great, awesome drone shots. On top of great hoof trimming. Great job all around

YEA, what he said! Seriously, you do a hell of a good job at production. I started watching this kind of content a couple of months ago and I don't know why this is so satisfying to watch...but it is! You really do do a great job on the vids but you appear to be very good at your real job which is trimming cow's feet! I'm from Michigan in the states and I got hooked on this watching a guy...I want to say from South Dakota or something. He uses a product that seems to be really good for drying the bloody yuky flesh but it also appears to have some pretty good pain releaving properties. I can't remember the name but I'll look for one of his vids and pass it on to you with his permission of course. Whatever is out there that can make healing faster, kill more pain and is legal to use in both places...why the hell not right?
So the stuff is a powder, he shakes some on and then pours some into a piece of gauze mashes it into the wound and wraps it with the same self sticking gauze you use. It's called salicylic acid. Have you ever used it? Oh...and the guy's from Wisconsin...one state away! LOL
true, really. just gotta watch that exposure a little more often
@@waynethomas1726 I've watched a lot of Hoof GP videos the last few days and he used salicylic acid in some of them. Don't know if they were newer or older than your comment though, since I watched a mix of old and new videos. Just thought you might want to know :)
so agree, I have recommended so many people to start watching to other just relax or get into watching for the trimming. You help so many people and beautiful cows daily, the spa shouldn't be a question. Get it for you and the wife to relax in, kids secondly. hahahaha
When you said the farm leaves notes on which cows to trim, I imagined each cow having a yellow sticky note on its head.

I have been watching your videos for a while. I was a nurse for 20 plus years and I think of when you take so much off a claw it’s like deriding a wound for a human and have go back and clean it either everyday or every so many days. This pandemic has me watching things I never dreamed of watching too. Cattle hoof trimming, sheep farming and 20somethings reacting to music I listened to in HS. (“70’s).

Never saw myself getting so interested in this but it’s so gratifying to see how much you improve the lives of the cattle you work on.
I appreciate you cleaning your crush between customers. It shows your attention to stop the spread of disease from one farm to another. It also shows your respect for your equipment. I trust a farrier more when their equipment is clean and in good repair. I watched a video from another cow trimmer in the States and his crush was filthy. I expect the cows would rather be in a clean environment too. Way to go Hoof GP

Biosecurity is real. It's heartbreaking to hear of necessary culling due to poor biosecurity, regardless of the stock species (chickens really get to me)
I ate UK beef in 1983, mad cow disease was prevalent in the Midlands. I was in Portsmouth and Hayling Island, I only had local beef, but I have been banned from giving blood ever since. The importance of cleanliness is well-known in the UK.
Ask Appleton to fit a coffee machine in one of the lockers and a motor mover like caravans have, it would make manoeuvring into tight spaces a doddle, as for colour, I agree with Craig 😂😂

Cows are like toddlers, always judging your failures and nosing around your stuff.
Cows are very attentive always, go whistle, beat a drum, or watch them respond to even a different sound out by a field of cows (make sure no bulls or ya might have to dodge a horn as he plays a ‘deadly game of pick me up by the seat of your pants’ 😇. Bulls can be possessive & protective of ‘his cows’ and are never to be trusted as ‘not aggressive’ because they can kill without intention, maybe he stubbed his toe, but bulls are always unpredictable even if you’ve raised them from a calf. Cows can be aggressive to protect a new calf, but dairy cattle not as bad because they are handled several times a day.
A voiceover by Scottish comedienne Janey Godley would be perfect for this!
You have the best voice. For the lame and sleepless. When I can't sleep I put on a Hoof GP video and let that lovely voice soothe my anxiety and drift off. 😴😴

@@tonybezanson9625 could be. I am vegan, I don't agree with farming. Still like this guy very much. His videos are just very interesting, I can learn a lot from it. But there is some bs going on in "the vegan community" though (in between " as I don't agree with the wording or a thing called the vegan community.).
Farming is where vegans get vegetables. Ranching is where carnivores get food.
Note: I am an ethical vegetarian and love our "gp" for caring for those cows for they should be well care for. The results are better for all. Now, who dislike this man... competition!!!

Water intake valve that you connect your hose to, and strategically placed spray nozzles that do the cleanup faster and in those tiny crevasses too!

As somebody that lives on 50 acres of woodland that were neglected for the last forever, your yard looks incredibly clean. Clearing brush, undergrowth, and blackberries is no easy task but the end result is always so rewarding. Can't wait to see what it ends up looking like.
Hi from Australia: The cows really are inquisitive, love the lady that is watching you back into the race she is so intent on watching your process. The ladies looking over your shoulder are very interested in what you have to say. I think that a still from that shot would make a good photo for a calendar... stay safe
All ladies have to watch when they get a manicure. Or pedicure it is.
Jokes aside, this is something very important for animal health, and it was almost unheard of when I worked with milking cows in the 1980ties. They got their hooves looked after but not to this extend. This will also bring awareness to animal well fare and health. It's needed.
