The best thing to do now is to plan for retirement I swear. The World is harsh!

Mr. Kasingye Asan is the most outstanding Police Officer both active and retired in Museveni era. The two times I had opportunity of meeting with him most amazing moment was holding hand greeting. An honest professional officer. May Allah continue to protect him.

Wow! What an interview. Thank you Solomon for hosting Afande Asan. My take home is about preparing for retirement early enough. The world outside there may not be friendly to retirees.

Kasingye was an honest and calm officer : He never abused his power . Whatever he says here is exactly what he stood for before he retired. Bless him

Mr. Asan had a wonderful vision for police, If I had the powers I would give him an opportunity to make the police which is respected by citizens. Secondly, am motivated by Mr. Asan, good piece for all who are employed by another, I need to start something for myself, thank you #AIIJ for soliciting wisdom from Mr. Asan

On retirement you have advised all the government employees who want to die in office that retirement is inevitable. BUT you must plan for it.

I have high regard for Hassan Kasingye in his service as a Police Officer. In fact he should have been Inspector General of Police if we had a levelled

If you listen to the likes of AIGP retired Kasingye, Yiga and a few others discussing issues around security, politics and police, i get shocked and start believing in what they say but it’s not what’s on the ground!!, what’s wrong with the system then ???

There a gaps in his answering.
If he says that the police penalizes those who kill and harass citizens yet in actual it's not true.
An example is in the story of the Commander of the Luuka events still moves freely and not forgetting the other all over the Police moving freely after killing citizens.
These stories are in archives for reference.

Because of ranks in the police , you will find the junior police officer decision can be over looked over by those are above him

Politicians make the work of police officer to be very difficult, instead of getting orders from inspect general

Save and invest when you are still young while being an employee at the moment.
