I grew up in Orlando and remember seeing the Uniroyal Girl growing up on RT 50 as I would drive to Melbourne Beach to see my Aunt and Uncle. I’m glad you restored her. 👍🏻💯
So sad to see this park go. We went there back in the 60 s and 70 s . " Story town was just up the road , later to be called " The great escape ". Most places we went to in our youth are just memories now .
We took our Daughter to Magic Forest in 1997...she loved it. We were living in the Lake George Area...Martha's Ice Cream was a hit also...with the Large Chicken
very cool, we have a Uniroyal girl in Peoria IL at Plaza tire, they still change her clothes according to the season bikini in the summer and dress and shirt in winter.
We really need to get to Georgia to see these guys. Only had a chance to photograph them back at Magic Forest back in 2015 from the parking lot. I wish the park was open back when we passed it so we could have seen them really close up.
Great stuff as always. Makes my day every time you put out a new video. I am kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on a few pieces from magic forest.
One of these Muffler Men are still selling tires in Montana. (3741 Montana Ave, Billings, MT) My dad worked at a sign company and was tasked with painting him. He decided his other hand was too empty and fashioned a large 12-pk of Coca-Cola for him to hold for awhile. Awesome info in your video, stumbled upon it randomly.
Great episode! I always admired the Snerd that used to stand on Rt 537 in New Jersey, just down the road from Great Adventure. I'm curious about the lady chef holding the spoon which is shown @ 4:03 in the video.
there used to be a Uniroyal girl off Raphel Road in Kingsville, Maryland. you could see her through the trees when you were going north on I-95. it was some sort of Halloween/Fall hayride attraction i think. She's been gone since at least 2014 and the property is now a solar farm. never found any photos of her either, just barely make her out on google images. wonder what happened to her? we used to just call her the "giant woman". there was another muffler man up that way in the town of Havre De Grace dressed in army fatigues. hes gone and is set to become an attraction at some place called "retro ghost town"
Had the solid red shirt blue pants giant here in Ca at the Domingues golf course they put a cap on him and a giant golf club in his hand but it closed in 2012 I believe, It was an 18 hole par 3 and we had a lot of fun there, a Porsche dealer bought the land and redressed the giant.
My brother and I were obsessed with Mad magazine. I would have jumped out the car window if I had seen Alfred E. Neumann dressed like Huck Finn, with a pet dinosaur!! I would have been seriously injured, but I can definitively state that I would have had no regrets. 😆
If I recall correctly and the Website I read it on wasn't B.S., it was one of 3 or 4 heads you could order your muffler man with and I think it was called "The Idiot." Though, obviously, it's Alfred E. Neuman. Edit: It was originally called "the halfwit" but was later changed to "Mortimer Snerd," which is the commonly accepted moniker today.
If you're old enough and went to amusement parks of this era, this video brings you fondly back. Thanks for your efforts!
its so awesome to know these guys are still being taken care of

Thank you for your passion in saving these pieces of Americana.
Just found your channel. Great work guys. Love it when history is preserved as you are doing. Thank you and Happy 2025 to all of you from Seattle 😊

There was one of these at the miniature golf course in La Habra, California. It was on the corner of Whittier Blvd and Harbor Blvd.
We had one in my hometown of Clarksville, Ar. When i was younger. I don’t know what happened to him.
Part of the thrill of eating at a Frisch's (later became Shoney's) was the fiberglass "Big Boy," with his country music (circa 1965) hairdo.

Come to Toto Indiana! We have an Indian in front of a store called Richard's. Maybe you can get some history on him.

There’s one of these up the street from my house in Longmont Colorado off of Highway 66
I’m excited because on another episode I saw that I’m only 1.5 hours from Enchanted Castle Studios! Do you know if yours or visits are available?
Do you guys know about the Uniroyal Girl in Pearsonville, California, “the hubcap capital of the world?”
Yes but have not seen her yet

Those fiberglass cows are EVERYWHERE in Kansas City.
How much do these things weigh?
What is the smudge under the girls chin ?
I wanna see the giants 😩. I'll aak one of my adult children to take me. 😊 ❤
Lake George NY is not Albany NY
Could have done without the super loud annoying music!!!!!
