I don't own either, but I feel that, in redness, this Dracula ink should look similar to Diamine Cardinal. And it is possible to add the shimmer ourselves (Diamine is much cheaper for more ink).
You’ve got a good color eye, I think your comparisons are spot on. Can you review Wearingeul Black Cat, an Endless Pen offering? It’s an unusual deep, deep violet with red-copper shimmer. It might make interesting viewing with other dark purples. It’s not black, but just a whisker shy.
I think it would be fine with a fine nib. I don't think I'd use EF nibs with most shimmers, but that's not a nib size that I use often anyway so I don't have a whole lot of experience with it. As with other shimmers, I'd use it in a pen you can take apart to clean well so that you can get all of the shimmer out of the feed when you are done with the ink.

It's a great color. I picked it up from Van Ness at the Atlanta Pen Show. (I think, shortly after talking to you.)
I like how you give the ink an entire page to show it off
Thanks! I’m glad I added that to the review format, even though it adds a lot of time to the review prep. 😅

Yep! That's coming up very soon. And I'll have some to give away, as well!
Very cool ink best of the Vampire,Drucula named ink this year 🧛
It's a great ink!
I’d be curious to see a comparison of Diamine’s Sailors Warning (Red Sky) vs Dracula.
Literally just got that one in the mail!
@@inkdependenceawesome! I look forward to the review.
I am new to fountain pens and inks! I have a fine and an extra fine nib, can this ink be used with those sizes? Thanks for your time!

@@inkdependence thank you for the reply! I just purchased a TWSBI vac 700R with broad nib! Hopefully it will be good for the shimmers and sheens!
It should be. The TWSBI pens usually are. I use Ecos for shimmer all the time, and they're great for that.
