The Monarch must be really heavy or they might of tried not to use full brakes :) Great video anyways, hope to see some more Manchester Airport videos ;) haha!!
Although I don't have a clue what it refers to, I like the special paint job on that one arriving Monarch 757! Yeah, I actually noticed that 757's extended rollout as well.....perhaps some kind of brake problem?! The El Al 767 was also nice to see. Is that a regular occurrence at Luton or a special situation of some kind?
i remember flying long haul on that very same monarch 757 19 years ago...same aircraft G-MONJ, same airport Luton
No, it was to the US...Orlando, Florida; tech stop & immigration customs clearance in Bangor, Maine
that thomson 757 engine testing had quite a bit of vibration on it's elevators
Awesome video! There is nothing strange with backtraking aft landing. Runway is short and landing speed maybe high ;-)
Very nice .... shot on my B'day.
One more brilliant display.always a joy to watch. THANKS MATT

***** Luton's is actually quite short to be fair, but its still unusual for an arrival to miss the last turn off.
How far away are you from the run way when you film this?
