Could you lube those valves so they come undone easier. Copper slip, vaseline, veg oil ,butter, lard??? Anything to make life simpler. Nice to hear the swallows in the background.
You could try wearing rubber gloves when trying to unscrew those milk machine bits. The gloves help with gripping. Also a soft child’s toothbrush helps getting into the small spots.
Keep your chin up and always remember to smile, you will see your mum in every moment of your day, don’t be sad ❤❤❤❤❤

Aww bless you. I know myself how difficult it is I lost my father over 20 years ago and I still have difficult days babe. Rely on close friends and family talk about her over meals and it will help. Always here if you need a shoulder or a hug 🥰🥰

After you lose someone there are all these seasonal occasions plus birthdays/holidays/anniversaries which are extra tough to endure that first time without them being with you. I know it's trite but time and sharing it aloud are about the only ways to deal with it.
Mind yourself. Tough when you loose someone close. Ps would be easier disassemble those fittings if soaked in hot water first
ALL of your followers in here Nicola completely understand your hurt, grief, and deep sadness in missing your Mum. We never get past the hurt and sadness. Yes, we find a way to keep plugging along and some days to be sure are bright and really do help us. But, a day like cleaning up and packing those things away was coming and most likely you knew it too. Thank you Nicola for wanting to share it with your Fans. Peace to you. It is healthy to give yourself the space to feel and be with the sadness. A year and a half on I still miss my mom.
On another note 'some' sheep?
It's good to talk. It's good to weep and it's good to grieve. Most of all be kind to yourself. I know it's easier said than done but if you can take a break . From everything. My heart goes out to you. I lost my dad over 2 years to cancer. We had time to say goodbye was the only good thing. Hang in there.

Will you and Davy be dipping your sheep? I would be concerned those new ones having been scratching more than would be normal for some reason (I’m aware the easy cares should naturally lose their fleeces).
