  • Jodi Arias dated Travis Alexander for about five months, but their relationship didn't end after that. She became obsessed with him after. And when he stopped showing up for work, people began to look at Jodi Arias, and she began to tell quite a number of tales. This is a look at the 2008 high profile case of Jodi Arias, and what happened after.

      When you said “she claims she was abused and hit with wooden spoons and a belt“…
      I kind of threw my hands up in the air like “Who didn’t get spanked with the good old wooden spoon and/or belts?”… And right when I had that thought you said “who didn’t get the wooden spoon“? LOL exactly. Great minds. We all got the fuck’n wooden spoon 😂
      Did you ever get the wooden spoon for spaghetti/ pasta, that had the hole in the middle of it??...and then you would have a red spot on your ass with a white spot? 🤣

      What they didn't say in this video is that she tried to clean up the scene. She threw the camera in the washing machine and washed clothes and sheets, leaving the laundry forgotten in the washing machine. I live in Phoenix and remember this case very well and even knew people that knew Travis because of his public seminars.

      The pics taken during and before the murder were taken because she had the camera around her shoulder on a strap and that’s why the inadvertent pics were taken and that should have been looked into more because it blows her story away because she claimed the camera fell and that’s what triggered the whole attack

      @@tranquilrabies If she is a woman with ASPD or Antisocial Personality Disorder which is unfortunately now, thanks to the latest DSM, the diagnostic label that is meant to be used instead of psychopathy or sociopathy - that's a whole other discussion but like many psychologists, I would prefer to have the term psychopath and sociopath be kept as separate diagnoses - then she very likely has a pathologically high level or degree of narcissism and, as such, would be in an absolute fury and those rages can last for not just hours but days. And Arias displays many of the symptoms of sociopathy and may be what is termed a "malignant narcissist" which, whilst not technically a diagnostic or a clinical term, is nevertheless often used by psychologists and it describes an individual who has high levels of narcissism and sociopathy along with paranoia and traits such as extreme jealousy and possessiveness of anyone they consider themselves close to.. There have been a few psychological articles about Jodi Arias and one psychologist wrote that she seemed to exhibit behaviour consistent with high levels of narcissism and he also mentioned she evinced so many symptoms of sociopathy but because he didn't think she had any sociopathic signs before age 15 that she couldn't be a sociopath.
      However, the fact is that Arias actual did exhibit signs of sociopathy or what is referred to as "conduct disorder" as a minor, a term and a diagnostic label attributed to anyone who is a minor and is showing symptoms of sociopathy or psychopathy. Arias was found growing cannabis in her parent's Tupperware containers atop the roof of their house or apartment when she was 14 years old. When her parents discovered this they then searched her room, concerned she was involved in other drugs or other illegal activities. They did what any parent would do under those circumstances yet when they went through her bedroom, Jodi Arias became enraged and from then on, according to her father, she was extremely resentful of them and he actually blamed himself for her apparently becoming resentful of and angry at her parents and for shutting down emotionally after they searched her room.
      Antisocial Personality Disorder or ASPD, for short, is typically not diagnosed if the individual hasn't exhibited symptoms of ASPD - sociopathy or psychopathy - as a minor. Jodi Arias definitely did exhibit symptoms of sociopathy before she was an adult, legally speaking, so it is therefore very likely that she is a sociopath and sociopathy typically has a high level of narcissism, too. Certainly, the way Jodi focused on her appearance when she thought the cameras weren't on in an interview she gave before her trial (and where she was still pretending there had been two assailants who murdered Travis) - she wants extra makeup before she goes on camera - and she talks aloud in the interrogation room which was filmed in the video above and berated herself for not having makeup on. Considering she was being talked to because she was facing charges of first degree murder and a life sentence in prison, the fact she was worrying about not having makeup on when the detective were interviewing her is a red flag. It is most certainly not a normal reaction for anyone who is being questioned as the prime suspect in a very brutal murder to worry about not wearing makeup. Most people would be worrying about being charged with murder, not the fact they're not wearing makeup for detectives to speak o them. This and other signs alone seem to indicate high levels of narcissism with Jodi Arias and that is not looking at the signs of sociopathy. Therefore, whilst it actually would need a psychological assessment and ideally by a independent psychiatrist who was not being paid by either the defense team or the prosecution for the trial to determine definitively whether Jodi Arias was and remains a sociopath and with pathologically high levels of narcissism, it is very likely that she is a sociopath if not also what's referred to as a malignant narcissist.

With the woman she was cold, and almost indifferent, with the male, she leans forward, the head on her hand like she’s on a date, that stupid baby voice etc.
    It’s crazy.

    • @ebynmatthews
      @ebynmatthews 3 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      That's because the female detective was playing the bad cop and this man was playing the good cop. The good cop/bad cop is a classic technique in interrogations when the subject doesn't answer truthfully!
      I personally don't think it had anything to do with her being cold with the woman, anyways she is a crazy bitch.

      It fascinates me that people believe her story. That's what really gets me! As person who's been abused I never once thought of killing my abuser but I did warn him when I walked over to our knife drawer you never when you're being abused leave a butcher block full of knives out on the counter number one rule, took out the biggest Hinkle knife I had took it by the blade tip and walk towards him handing him the handle you should have seen how big his eyes were and I said this is getting out of hand the therapy isn't working and one of us is going to go to jail for either self-defense or for murder you don't want it going this way so you need to make a decision now which way do you want this to go and he stopped because that fight had gotten so bad that I was outside in my underwear hiding in the bushes in an apartment complex. I laugh about it now but at the time it was frightening. A month later I was gone. You're an adult and you have to make decisions the sheriff's department thought I would be dead in two weeks 30 + years later I'm still alive I was maybe lucky or I did the right things I think one of them was he found out I didn't care if he killed me I really didn't I had no fear of death I had no fear of him doing anything anymore I pretty much didn't have anything he wrecked my career he had taken everything I had I didn't get my personal property out and all my family photo albums childhood things he kept just to hurt me. I had found a safe place but he must have been having private investigators follow me and he knew right where I was the police were right he was there within 24 hours letting me know he knew where I was. He kidnapped me two weeks later and on that day I decided it was okay if I died at the end of the day he let me go I don't know what made him do it. She changed her whole appearance, including cutting mall bangs and colouring her hair a dowdy colour, but to include glasses where you can't see evidence of a lens because the profile of her cheekbones are not distorted in any way as if the lenses are just blanks speaks of costume. Which would make sense because they would give her something she could at least feel she could hide behind, as well as providing distance from the kind of influencer-influenced look she has clearly dyed her very long hair to distance herself from. You have to recolour hair that you've coloured blonde if it's of that length; lightening your hair can't be temporary so she has recoloured intentionally. She's gone with dorky type frames too which is distant from her previous look. Not convinced that this nerdy, bookish, far-removed innocent look isn't an act....

      As guilty as Casey Anthony may be, the prosecution left so many holes in their story, and the police failed to investigate obvious leads, that the jury had no choice but to say she wasn't guilty beyond reasonable doubt. I mean, her mother was the last person seen alive with Caylee, was known to often swim with Caylee, immediately insinuated herself into the case, and directed the cops to the body claiming "a psychic told her where it was". If I can point that much to an alternate suspect, so could the defence, and without an actual crime scene, the "murder weapon", no witnesses, and only a bunch of odd behaviour, as well as the fact that her parents acted in a dishonest and suspicious manner, they had no choice.
