Something I have to respect about Aaravos is that before Leola was killed he really had a good heart. He heard the child calling for help and ran to her without a second thought, he wasn’t only a caring dad, he was a caring person

He always had a good heart. He still does. But his mind is set on vengance to match his eternal fury. A fury much like his life, and the life that could have been his daughters.
He still cares. Now more than ever. And demons run, when a good man goes to war.

No wonder he's so angry! The Startouch Elves condemned a child to death for what was essentially an act of compassion and would give her no mercy at all! Their cold indifference resulted in thousands of years of chaos and death by one of their own.
I still don't approve of Aaravos' misdeeds and manipulations, but his people's execution of his child was not just or merciful at all. It was indeed cruel, and that "fine line" between the two, while true from a certain pov, is still utter bull

It's also odd that, comparing Leola's "crime" to her father's crimes, Aaravos was only banished. Why wasn't he killed for messing with natural order?

What happened to Leola is even worse when you look at her in pictures and in this scene...
Aaravos described hers a quirky, some saw her as odd.. When Aaravos looks her over to make sure shes not hurt you see her stimming with her hands.
Leola was most likely autistic, theres a good chance she didnt understand why giving magic to humans was "wrong". She probably just wanted her friends to be able to do what she could do to play.
Yet the startouch elves, decided a child must be killed for doing this.
And Sol Regum, or Anak Arow back then, likely knew what the punishment for her would be, and let it happen, and told the Startouched.
You honestly can 100% understand why Aaravos decided let the world fuckin burn after that.

I sympathized with aaravos in this instance I would have brought hell if my own child was condemned in such a way just for something as petty as he mentioned it himself. However, we aren’t sure if the humans learnt of this through dark magic or regular magic like callum and if it is like callums magic the star touched elves didn’t solve the issue at all as generations passed and he and most likely many others used magic whether dark or elemental in secret or unbeknownst to them.

If these Star Touched Monsters are the The Dragon Prince's variation of the Creators, their entire universe is fucked. If there's no higher power, and these psychopaths are the top of the food chain, nobody would want to live in such a cruel universe. Leola was a child. Autistic or not, she was guilty of nothing except being a compassionate person. Murdering a child for that is so evil that I think even Satan himself would be disgusted. Perhaps hypocritically disgusted as I doubt he's above doing it himself but his disgust would still be genuine.
I believe in God in our universe but if he's anything like this, I want nothing to do with him. I don't believe he is like this - I believe that the supernatural slaughters in the Old Testament were actually Satan gaslighting everybody into thinking he was God - but just the idea that he might be is horrifying.

Leola drawing her father with a moustache is very ironic when you consider that old classical villains often had exaggerated moustaches to emphasise their villainy, a grim bit of foreshadowing for what Aaravos would eventually become, a villain.

There is something I noticed and maybe everyone has seen it but if you look at the star symbol on Aaravos chest before he lost his daughter it was all white and after her death and the early shows that star on his chest is now blacked out. Maybe this is because he is of his loss or the constant using of dark magic and his heart is now dark due to the killing of his daughter. I do not know but we will know in the 7th season of the show.

I think he just shifted the responsibility to his daughter, and lied in the story. According to all the legends, it was Aaravos who gave people magic. Leola was ill, she was born with abnormalities. There are a number of hints about this and she even had only one horn. He decided that if he put the blame on his daughter, then the others would just forgive her for it. Well, she's just a sick child, right? Alas, it didn't work out.
I just don't believe, that so ruthless, psychopathic and manipulative demonic character was once a nice guy.

You might be right; but I think it could be Leola's whole story, even if Aaravos is only telling it just to get Claudia to trust him, and part of the tragedy is knowing that he isn't even the person who loved his child more than life itself anymore. He goes from the person he was here, offering his own life for his daughter's; to someone who tricks Viren into making a kid with him just so he can sacrifice them for a dark ritual. It's really tragic.

Never underestimate the power of human greed. Once one human begins to cast magic, another and another will. And soon, magic lies in the hands of unruly children and dictators and abusers alike.
Magic to humans is like a gun to a toddler. The adults and the elves keep them out of their hands, for a pretty good reason. The difference here, is that you cannot take magic away from the humans... only watch, as it spreads to more and more.
