His little speech about why taking risks of death or injury is being a good dad. It is not. It is totally irresponsible, selfish he said. Parents have not higher duty than to protect and nurture their children. This man deserves condemnation by everyone who is not self centered child. Now on the the other point. What he does is quite possibly against the law. Taking artifacts is often just theft. Much of the public land in the west is managed by the BLM and it is a chargeable offense to remove minerals for commercial use, and cultural materials without a permit Here is the short form-- "Cultural Materials Cultural materials on public lands may not be removed, damaged, disturbed, excavated, or transferred without a BLM permit. These resources include prehistoric and historic artifacts and sites, whole or broken objects and debris that were used by humans. Protected materials include arrowheads and other stone tools, grinding stones, beads, baskets, pottery, old bottles, horseshoes, metal tools, graves, and trash scatters. Modern money may be collected, but not historic coins and artifacts. Historic sites such as cabins, sawmills, graves, trail traces, mining areas, town sites, ranches and railroads are closed to collecting" Land managed by the NPS /Forestry service often has much more restrictive rules as in "take nothing" Removal of artifacts from mining claims requires the permission of the claim holder. The days of driving out and bringing back historic ore cars for the yard or for sale are over. Some people will object or claim that they are saving the artifacts that they strip. That might be true, many old mines will inevitably collapse and bury everything within. But the law should be obeyed. If we disagree we should get on the horn to congress. Go watch videos by responsible adults who do not take artifacts, there are several of them who do good videos without the bragging or the self justification of a selfish idea of what is right.

Unless it was as an investment that gained in value each year. Or to flip them for more than I paid.
Or, to copy the design and mass produce reproductions. As you said already. But I don't see that original design out there. They must modify it a bit.
Can't say that I understand risking one's life for clothing, but I can say this guy is freakin awesome!
It's not for clothing. It's for money. No different than any other dangerous job like cutting down trees, coal mining, or any other job that slowly kills you in exchange for pay.
I think for him the money is just a bonus. He’s really doing it for the adventure
You're standards of awesome seem low
@@caseybenner4530 not low. Just different than urs He's doing something he loves and he's proud of it. How is that not awesome?
@@laurieerickson5648 destroying history for money is not something one should be proud of. Just sayin
This is what horror movies bases their story from
Professional level talker
This guy is deff high on life 😅😅😅
We have an expression in Texas - leave it as you find it! So taking anything from a mine is thievery. It does not belong to a mine explorer. IMHO
I’m so glad he was happy with his treasures of a dirty shirt and a Jean pocket from 1940 🤣🤣
R.I.P Bradley Nowell 1968-1996.
Yea I’m from Vegas ppl look for miners jeans left behind in the mines
Although a super quick shot, that cat was super cool looking
imagine the
amount of
work it
takes
to dig those
mines
take all that
timber in there
and build the
vertical
shafts
Unbelievable that this guy is violating the antiquities act and bragging about it! Maybe this video should be forwarded to the proper authorities for further investigation. I think a conviction carrys a hefty fine and up to 90 days inprisonment for each item removed. VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW!
Yeah! Lock him up! Lock him up!
Or maybe the federal government has better things to do than deal with someone who isn’t hurting or bothering anyone..
I don’t see why Levi’s won’t replicate these jeans. They were well made and tough. Nothing like the jeans we wear today.
Dude should put some modern jeans in some mines for fun and for people to find years from now .
These jeans are like a real world macguffin to justify his spelunking obsession.
4 friends dead in 4 months? Maybe I should reevaluate my life because I don't even have 4 friends in the past 7 years.
The Levi pocket... Its probably vintage miner splooge. Which would make it extra valuable.
I think he means go out with a bang, burning out is fading out XD
6:29 - 6:41
THIS!!! 💯💯💯
you could use/make a drone to search it.
vice fucks up again. don’t go into abandoned mines unless you know what you’re doing, and definitely don’t remove the artifacts inside.
For some bizarre reason when I saw the title I assumed he was scavenging land mines. Ore mines make more sense.
Mine explorers are typically not theifs.
SpeedFreakLS1 and Shango066 are!
Your name is Sancho? Sublime sings a song about Sancho. You know sublime? "I won't think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sanchos throat" - Sublime
Such an inspiration
Leave the artifacts where they are.
“I will add them to my collection and rent them out.“ Was purely to brag about how smart he is and how well he is doing. But he had to go higher than that and then say he actually sold them for a high prices as well. So he abandoned the logic he used in his previous claim. A typical bullshitter.
He’s a super sweet guy leave him alone
@@SOLDAT_NGHe's a scammer with some kind of personality disorder.
Its not like I judge. I just know a bulshitter when I see one.
@T cool story bro
You sound bitter in life.
This guy is like an American David Brent from the office
the speech at 7 min won me over.. this dude fuckin rules
There’s a thin line between crazy and genius and this man walks on a spiders thread
I play hockey with Brit, and the dude is absolutely a character. This video does little justice for what it’s like to experience him in person.
the music in this video is perfect
The D-Bag Spirit is strong with this one
Looks like a chunk of turquoise in that mine wall at 8:27
The fact that he kills rattlesnakes that are legit just chilling in mines for a pair of jeans is the embodiment of everything wrong with humans. Like what a dick move.
Sounds like you are everything wrong. Go have a tea party with your pet rattle snack then.
what did i learn from this vid.. I need to buy old sprinter vans and slap a bed and a fridge in them and sell them for 100k!! 4x profit!!
How many times have you found missing persons clothing?
How would he know if it was missing people or not
nice Volkswagen outfit🍻
Danny McBride be careful in them caves! Love your movies!
Them old Levi's jeans are worth alot!😎🤘
Your thinking of "Santeria" by Sublime. Anyone else scream at the TV? Rest in peace Brad!!
this guy have a really great way of thinking about life! GO OUT WITH A BAM!
Much of the public land in the west is managed by the BLM and it is a chargeable offense to remove minerals for commercial use, and cultural materials without a permit Here is the short form--
"Cultural Materials
Cultural materials on public lands may not be removed,
damaged, disturbed, excavated, or transferred without a
BLM permit. These resources include prehistoric and historic
artifacts and sites, whole or broken objects and debris
that were used by humans. Protected materials include
arrowheads and other stone tools, grinding stones, beads,
baskets, pottery, old bottles, horseshoes, metal tools, graves,
and trash scatters. Modern money may be collected, but
not historic coins and artifacts. Historic sites such as cabins,
sawmills, graves, trail traces, mining areas, town sites,
ranches and railroads are closed to collecting"
Land managed by the NPS /Forestry service often has much more restrictive rules as in "take nothing"
Removal of artifacts from mining claims requires the permission of the claim holder.
Go watch videos by responsible adults who do not take artifacts, there are several of them who do good videos without the bragging or the self justification of a selfish idea of what is right.
finders keepers losers weepers
You sound fun to be around
He reminds me of Kenny Powers
Wait so he goes to old mines and looks for jeans? Is that a common thing found in mines?
