My wife makes me classic tiramisu But she doesn’t use those sponge fingers !! Using the sponge fingers is a bit lazy She makes all her sponge from scratch!! Much nicer and tastier 👍🏼
Can you ask her for the recipe? Ill even cash app you for it, I never made it before and my grandma used to make it for my dad before she passed so I want to make it the best for him

The one mistake was that u made the filling too thick. So the lady fingers doesnt soak it up as much
