RIP Jessie. Aloha i recently was out there last year for a small poker run. Was held by a toyota club i beleive. I was there to help out Bonescustoms which was sponsoring and having to do one of the trals for the wheelers cards. Was a great place to wheel. I wouldnt say i love that place cuz of the driving to and from each trail is long. But i do recommend this place if you are afraid ofmlooking up at the sky and willing to do 7up
Love this place. Ride these trails all the time. More trails recently put in for atv/dirtbikes have been added in. I talked to a forest worker about 3 months ago, and he said they are putting more trails together to limit road riding- which they just opened up a few more trails. Now they need to update the trail map
18psi or less on beads would have seen much more distance traveled. Damn nice trails thou. So good you have clubs that sponsor the tracks to keep them in good order and open to the public... Great vid
Dear Warn, You are the makers of the best winches in the world. You know everything I don't about the 4x4 life. PLEASE LEAVE ANY MUSIC OFF YOUR VIDEOS. I WANT TO HEAR THE VEHICLES!!! Thank you.
Looks to me like neither of them aired down at all, my pickup isn't set up to do much but when i went up with Rain Country Cruisers i made it up most of fb5 once i aired down while one of the guys that had a built Land Cruiser was having some trouble with full air in his tires.
If that little old Land Rover can make it through then I think a stock Jeep JK Rubicon (with a winch) could make it through. That built crawler truggy on huge iroks (49"?) had just as much trouble as that JKU on little KM2s. Did anyone air down? I see almost no bulging even the creepys and iroks which are bias tires but the KM2s on the JKs looked like they had 25 psi in them. Yes that wet rock is slick but it seems like air pressures were being run way too high which was making things even more difficult.
That "little Rover" is on a Toyota Mini-Truck Drivetrain I believe and the PNW is Toyota Country for a reason... I remember finding it strange that there were so many "Warn" Jeeps out there that year when MOST of the guys out at Warn have Toys like the rest of us. (Edit: are you talking the White Defender or the old "patina'd" Series II you see every once in a while in the background??? The white one is NOT running Toy axles but the Series is and it was def. out there that day) But yeah, the high-pressure tires don't help at ALL. Some of the new "trendy tires" actually don;t air-down well though cause the side-wall is so dam stiff to keep good on-road manners and actually those of us FROM the NW have realized long ago that tall and skinny is better for our trails then giant balloon tires. Puts more PSI to the ground. In fact my "little" 34X9.50 LTB trail tires on my 1st Gen 4Runner have taken me places WAY bigger tired rigs have struggled because they just float and spin. Obviously Wide tires have their place in Mud/Snow/Sand but for our tight twisty and usually WET and rooty trails, knobby tall and skinny is the best combo IMO. I just wish I could get a true 36-37" tire with a max 10" section width maximum like what I had in Australia (old NDT Farm/Mil-spec tires) on my HJ75. Matter of fact I want my HJ75 and my cattle dog back here in OR too.
Did none of them think to let out a little air of the tires? I mean I'm no pro at off Roading, but you might not need those winches if you had some traction
Truggly looks like every bit of 4500 lbs and only sports what looks like 1 ton axles ...49s make 1 tons look like a twig between some balloons . You can't really argue the Truggy argument with that tire axle combo as it just leaves you dead in the water with no argument .
You think "bigger is better" applies to everything huh? Rockwell axles are too big, too heavy and too much of a pain in the ass to warrant running them anymore. Back when the aftermarket world didn't have the knowledge, everybody ran them because they were cheap, strong (compared to a bare D44) and easy to find. Now I will take a D60/70/80 and 14b over the Rockwells any day and do more than you, faster and better than you and break less. And your comment about weight in invalid. Inform yourself.
Ha, I remember this shit show... Not sure how I missed the vid for 4 years though. Sorry though folks, beautiful as it is, Oregon is FULL UP and the trails are ALL CLOSED... Bummer I know, but it's the truth... Oregon is officially CLOSED. We jsut can;t take any more transplants and we've had to close our borders. They';re well guarded too so don;t even try tee hee.
Been camping out there since I was a kid. Never had issues getting a camping spot. Now we have to get somebody out there by Wednesday to make sure we get a camping spot.
@@toddstarr3505 not many public places in the western part of the state other than gravel roads, and maybe some rough gravel roads. but there are no rough trails that are more than just a few miles long, other than the failed and abandoned gated communities (at least none that require 4x4, and i am not talking about gravel roads or rough trails that are only half mile long). the national forest gravel roads are even gated from December - April. if you know of any real *trails* west of asheville, i will meet you there
Actually Jesse's (if that's who you're talking about, the show host in the red JKU) one of the VERY few women who have any business behind the wheel of a 4wd and has proven it and done plenty of building of her own rig. usually I'd be 100% behind you on that one, but she's the "exception" to the rule for sure.
Rip Jessie your awesome 👍👍

Who also misses Jesse?
She was bad ass!!
@chaos9696 We were aired down, actually, and we ended up airing down even more later in the day. However, it was extremely slick.
"A lot of different rigs here today" jeep, jeep, jeep, truggy, jeep, jeep. Tons of variety.

And that's why every jeep has a winch! Get off the trails, i gotta get by in my Yota!
yeah hurry before it rusts away....
Miss her videos
Sad that she is gone now.
We lost a legend, in every sense of the word.
Jessi Combs is awesome 👍
Good for young
Jessi, what a cool girl. She needs to go back to an off-road show. All girls is ok, but not like it was on Xtreme 4X4. Thumbs up if you agree.

cozzi wysong agree way down

She's on a show called "All Girls Garage" on the Velocity network, and also does "The List" on Autoblog.com.
Good old Warn aye!

Love the Warn truggy! Is there any build info on like what shop put it together and detailed specs?
Yes: Jessi Combs.
Love the video nice wheeling...
Cool video
Looks like there running some high psi, no tire flex.

I did not hear any music when I was there.
RIP Jessi
How much does it cost to go wheeling there, and is there easier trails for beginner wheelers?
what happend to her show on spike xtreme 4x4?
R.I.P Jessie
Is Jessi Combs back on tv yet? Or she still recovering from the accident?
was there a tension breaker used at all? you should never load a cable winch without a tension breaker.
I would say you have an issue with your computer if the video is that fuzzy for you.
Did none of them think to let out a little air of the tires? I mean I'm no pro at off Roading, but you might not need those winches if you had some traction
R.I.P Jessi
0:26 what size IROKS are those?
why aren't these guys airing down?
bloody hell.. extremely difficult alright!
es lo mejor del 4x4 si
RIP jessee
I love this park go at least 2 times a month
FUCKIN OREGON BABY!!!! THATS MY HOME TOWN!!!

Nice!!
skip... skip ...skip YES! 2:40 magic moment when talk stops and cars get started
Need to air down them 49 Iroks a little more!!
I saw it talked to him snow run 2013
RIP
not bad but i did fire break five in a stock xj on 31 ltb's... no winching allowed haha...
6:20 my favorite
nice!
good
Rip jessi
I don't 4x4 when it's a slick like this
Winching isn't wheeling! If you can't do the trail with 44's and lockers, probably should redesign the trail.
Well I take back the axle statement after reading Truggy's specs on another video, , because truggy is running Portals .
yeah nobody looks aired down at all
No xj's? Damn.
Like the last guy said are down and you'll get way better traction. Rookies
out of everything on that buggy no beadlocks air down to nothing with them ballon tires
Вам нужно ехать в горы для такой дороги, а нам достаточно выйти из дома и сесть в машину!
Double black diamond
There any automatics out there? Or can autos even do things like that? Also what do you think about those bfgs?
Theres no way those were aired down to anything below 30psi, they're hardly even flexing. need to be running 10-15 psi in those conditions.
Could they do that without the 80s porn music in the background?
49 inches!!!!
goooooood
So weird seeing Jesse on this!
you sound s smart man.
@Po0rEmerica hell ya and more of the chick drivin it!
Shes a motorhead!!!!!! perfekt
great vid Warn. Thanks for posting!
Am I the only one who gives it a little gas while winching?
isn't that the girl that replaced Kari in the MythBusters when she was pregnant ?
and all i thought was in tillamook was a cheese factory with a good ice cream shop
No one looks aired down
I know the person who actually built that truck and sold it warn, beautiful "Toyota"

Haha yeah i agree :D
try16 psi man you all have bead locks :) 30psi is not aired down haha
Nothing like 155 psi rock hard tires!!! Rofl
Air down them 49s they aren't even bulging
a-ha. . . . a-ha-haha. Awsome

all the trails in Western NC have been closed too

You can thank obama.
He majorly expanded bushes environmental agenda which believes we are damaging everything we touch.
@@MrMrsregor plenty of places in nc if you know where to go

air down clown! nice vid.
Wrong
no one likes to air down I see
Yeah, is is. And she's no different here; rather cute but with way too high pitch in her voice that is really annoying.
why always this crappy music?
check out some of my videos
that's awesome good fotage
that chick needs wheelin' lessons
