Ben Boyd National Park , Eden is awesome . You can visit The Pinnicles and Green Cape lighthouse but Green Cape light house , you need to go on the dirt track road and it is about 36 km until you get to the lighthouse. It is remote and you are surrounded by nature . There is a walking track to disaster bay . There is lighthouse accomodation there too ! It is pure raw wilderness . There is also the light to light walking track . I think it is 3 days long and you gan do a guided tour . At Eden there is a waling station and museum . Wales are protected now . Pambula is a beautiful town with beautiful architecture .

Kangaroos are everywhere but you normally wont see them out during the day especially if youre just driving through. Theyre mostly nocturnal and come out toward dusk and are still around in the early morning hours. Theyre common around camping and recreation areas because the maintained conditions with mown grassy stretch close to bushland suit them to a tee and can pretty much guarantee free food from tourists. Same as that goanna you saw. So To guarantee seeing our wildlife youre best off going to a wildlife park.

Yeah It's Strange, Coming from the UK we genuinely expected them to be everywhere all the time, you see so many videos of them in Coles or Woolies Etc and just out and about doing there thing in the daytime that you expect that to be the case, when it really isn't. We have seen our fair share of Aussie animals now and most of them in the wild as well. We still have a few to tick off our list though.

Just love the Mums and their Joeys 😍. Good plan not sleeping in the tent in that storm, but the force of nature is magnificent to watch from a safe place 👍.

You have reached the Sapphire Coast. One of my favourite regions in Oz.
Probably a bit late to tell you this, but in NSW you can buy good quality meals in the clubs

As you are heading back into NSW in a few months you will be able to see the humpback whale migration. There are many places along the coastline this can be seen. Last year we were at a lookout and they were so close we could hear them singing. We lost count of how many went past and the locals said they had never seen so many that close. Once in a lifetime experience.

just out of interest, which lookout did you go to? and are they generally really busy? Thanks for watching - we Really hope we get to see it

In July we were staying at Nelson Bay about 2 hours north of Sydney. About 10 minutes from there is a small place called Boat Harbour. There are a couple lookout spots there. However there is so many other places along the coast so wherever you are just google the best spots in the area.

If you don't want to be smashed by the waves you dive under them and pop up on the other side.

Jason does do this on most waves, not on this day though for some reason and he got smashed loads 😂, it is really fun though

Just be careful of rips and learn to read a beach for where to swim for your safety. I'm an old born and bred Queenslander. Cheers.

Thanks for the tips! We are trying to educate ourselves more about the ocean and rips and we now know the best way to get out of a rip, still working on Identifying them though. Thanks for watching - We will be coming to Queensland in a few months for sure 👍
