The thing I loved about the original acting in SH2 is that the characters genuinely felt “haunted” and disturbed. It had such a surreal feeling to it. I think Bloober is going for same feel here which makes me even more excited for this game. The fact the voice actors are also doing the mo-cap works is also a huge plus.

I was leery at first, but I think they nailed the casting. Maria looks more innocent in this one, so I hope the actress can pull off her more sultry / sinister side. I think the determining factor is going to be the jail cell scene.

The cast so far is very impressive so far. Guy Cihi and Monica Horgan performances are iconic, but it's good to know they have a great cast for the remake.
Perfect cast. As a die hard fan that grew up with the originals, I can already tell that this and RTSH is going to be worth the 20 year wait.

Totally looking forward to this! Casting looks good. I am a bit disappointed in Maria's outfit. It's a side effect of modern gaming. Can't show a woman's stomach anymore! I just hope this version of Maria still retains that sultry side of her personality. It's rather important to the character in a number of ways.

Amazing casting! Luke was fantastic in Black Sails. It is funny watching the trailer I knew I recognized James from somewhere but could not place him...and of course, it is younger looking Woodes Rogers.
I’m not 100% sold on him yet, but so far our Mary/Maria seems promising.

I like the rearrangement of A Stray Child(?) in the background. I hope it will be a part of the remake soundtrack.
I don't know if it counts as a rearrangement since It's just playing the first 2 chords over and over. But it does sound good!
They like keeping the suspense in regard to Eddie and Angela actors.
I love the fact that the actors actually look like their respective models in the game.

It looks like they had a good pick of actors having resembles of original SH characters and everybody says James looks to old ..keep up. Maybe they put that as a Easter egg skin for James.

Nothing against this guy, but he sounds too tough for James. It makes his character seem like some kind of action movie cop, rather than an ordinary citizen like in the original game.

Angela's face looks good, the only complaint I have is that jacket she didn't have a jacket in the original and her skirt also changed

i think hearing her say one line different from the original isn't enough to say the actress's performance for the entire game is bad.

The casting choice looks very good. But these people's faces look bad in the game. James' hair looks weird. Yes, it's his original hair, but this hair looks artificial on this face. You can make James's hair look beautiful by making small touches. There is an improvement in weapon, fighting and movement animations. You still have to develop. The atmosphere and venues look truly amazing. Please listen to the fans.
