Suggestion: Maybe on the Harder modes, you could have the enemy flamethrowers immediately spawn with gas masks and not affected by poison gas. Makes sense for them to have gas masks as well because they are dealing with chemicals and fire.
You need the ability to spread out troops in the trenches. It's luck of the draw if they spawn in a cluster and then it's one unlucky arty shot away from losing all your troops.
Introduce air reconnaissance as an artillery upgrade to make artillery fire more accurately. Also, maybe have an upgrade in the field of espionage to know what the enemy is queuing up or has unlocked
Suggestion: there could be a random chance for a unit to have a support perk like a medic perk or munition. it will randomly happen when a unit is spawned and it will have the special ability like increasing the chance to survive a shot or faster movement speed you could also increase the chances of the ability given with some upgrades like better medical training for the medic perk or morale studies.the effects could work like an officers gas mask but you can choose.
Suggestion: Make a medic unit as well as making a 30% chance that enemies dont die from being shot but they fall down, and the medic can swoop in and save them. Of course due to the geneva convention they cant be shot but they can in this game, and when they die you get two fully armored up riflemen from the UN or something
Also with the roof upgrade if artillery is called on a trench will roofs the roof will get damaged and soon break. This could be solved with having a repair option.
Suggestion for a challenge: Don't know if this is how it works, but maybe you could only have units in your back trench and try to destroy the enemy base using only tanks, artillery, and gas. Your men can be produced, but cannot move out of your first trench.

Bunker: store troops inside to protect them Bunker Buster: breaks through bunkers, otherwise deals low damage Tunnel: slower movement, but protects units as they cross from trench to trench Land Mines: set interval spawn of mines on farthest trench, which explode when the enemy troops walk on them Trip Wire: enemy troops entering your trench are met with a quick explosive
I feel like this game would be far more balanced if you can convert gold into medals. Like make it 1000 to 1 conversion or something astronomical like that, but it would really help when you want to do challenges like this. It still is challenging, it's just not going to last an hour to do
Idea for the game: Flamethrower has some kind of chance to explode after you defeat him. For example like 20%-50% chance of exploding and causing damage to his nearby allies (you can also create an upgrade tree for flamethrower, in which one of the upgrades decreases the chance of explotion)
Suggestion: Some units(for example mgs, snipers) the more time they are alive, their experience should be increased. As a result a sniper that is alive for a while could be more accurate(less misses), rechamber their rifle faster(faster fire rate)
You need rearguard gameplay, deploy mines and/or barbwire on no man's land behind trenches you control, have zaper units that need to advance on it when re-taking ground, and make trench upgrades bulnerable from the back allow bor trench boobytraping and bunkers that delay troop response but make them resistent to artillery..

For artillery upgrades The barrage could have two upgrades were each upgrade adds another shell to the total And for precision artillery make the starting unlock area 50% bigger and have three upgrades where the area decreases by 30% each time. So that once you buy the last upgrade it will be nearly 100% accurate.

Suggestion 1: you should be able to put 2 machine gunners on one trench and when you upgrade them fully, you can turn it into a bunker. Suggestion 2: for the main base once you have all of the guards on it you should be able to turn them into either a machine gunner, sniper nest, or an extra artillery cannon that will work for only defense. Suggestion 3: sorry for making this long but, there should be a mechanic called momentum where it does 10% more damage to enemy troops while you attack a trench.
Baron! You should add strafing runs to the game and when the aircraft is strafing maybe machine guns could have a slight possibility of shooting them down, and then you can make it so if the aircraft are shot down they make a cool little crash sight on the map where you can see the crashed aircraft
i have an idea for country specific units. germany: stormtroopers (they were started in ww1 ( the historical ones at least not the star wars one's) british: cavelry (basically a fast but weak unit that iss mainly attacks with a sword and you can spawn a lot of them.) or leach trench catapult ( catapult that throws boms) and if maybe nations like turkey and france come things like camels for turkey and tear gas for the french ( the teargas will decraise the enemy's accurecy for ... amount of time if units are in the target area.)
suggestion for artillery and mortars: You can add radiomen units who would increase accuracy of artillery, or maybe make it a tech-tree feature where radio packs would physically show on some units, not sure which ones.
Maybe add a fog off war so u only see inside the first enemy trench but then officers have binoculars so you can see the next trench and a warplane that can fly over and temporarily remove the fog of war completely AND they make artillery more accurate
Here's an idea: upgrades like armor or gas masks are cheaper, but have to be pruchased for each unit individually. This way you can beef up specific units relatively quickly, but it won't apply to everyone
Maybe armor, but gas masks don't make sense until a certain point anyways. May as well find a cost and multiply it by, say, 5 units and make that the actual cost

If my idea of adding separate upgrade paths for trenchs as said before trains should be one of those upgrades. This would deploy units closer to the front line and maybe even being able to upgrade them to a armored train ( got this from bf1 ) this could include machine guns and maybe a cannon. This being said this could replace the machine gun position.
edit: with the exception of rain, this only works with no additional weather effects Baron! so I tried the sniper challenge on the same map on the same difficulty, only I was very aggressive. my stats were: Victory Time Fought: 2:34 Unit Summoned: 10-33 Tanks Summoned: N/A Abilities Used: N/A Units Killed: 34-0 Tanks Destroyed: N/A Stars Earned: 1964-2998 it turns out that snipers can just reach out and touch the enemy base from the second trench, if they’re close to the front wall
Maybe add a biplane? Where you could upgrade it to first make artillery more precise then one mg then 2 mgs and then a bomb I think that would be really cool and maybe even have a squadron ability and it would 500 stars and 5 medals
I think that there should pop up a menu before you start the game were you choose difficulty, units, tanks/artillery, weather etc. Maybe you could also choose game rules like no artillery or no tanks in this match menu.

I think height in the map should matter in range like for example if a soldier is in the lowwer part of a trench and a soldier attacks higher in the map it should need to get closer than if it was right in front of the soldier in the trench.
Make it so there’s two different types of artillery shrapnel or just explosive making the shrapnel be able to cover a large area and explosive a lot less smaller area and more effective against tanks rather than infantry compared to shrapnel
Upgrade suggestion: Advanced Supply Lines. 6 Medals. No prerequisite. Unit upgrades (armor, boots, gas masks, etc) are rolled out to currently spawned units in addition to newly spawned ones.
this could be taken down to 2-3 medals, and have it as a reoccurring purchase, where every time you update your upgrades, once you think you have enough you can spend 2-3 medals to transfer the upgrades to current troops who don't have them.

Armor should be better for the germans because of the stormtroopers and their units should be faster for blitzkrieg. Mud pits and guns getting clogged so they have to do close combat would also be great. Only the British should have tanks and shotgunners were only used by Americans and the Germans were the only ones to use flamethrower witch would explode when shot. This game has a lot of room for improvement , so keep up the good work Baron!
Things to add: 1: Rocket launcher unit 2: Online 1v1 3: Russian Missile tank (maybe it would cost more then the other tanks or something) 4: flamethrower tank maybe 5: a little number under or above the trench to see how many units are in the trench
I like this game. From my POV it is early stage. Suggestions: I miss info about health of all units, their damage, fire rate, armor, chance to hit and shooting distance. Is one hit a kill? You upgrade but what it gives? I want to see how I make soldiers stats better. Ammunition upgrades - more basic damage. Ammunition core upgrade - better penetration (works with personal armor, tank armor). Ammunition powder upgrade - longer distance. Few levels of personal armor upgrade. Maybe upgraded units should be more expensive? All soldiers should get Gas mask. Gas mask should have levels. Poison gas may also have levels. Gas do some damage if it's level is higher than mask level. And many, many more ideas. But row numbers for start.
Maybe add faction specific units and traits like Canadian shock troops or German sturmtruppen (stormtroopers), or better trenches for the Germans. Another thing could be flechette darts to drop on enemy soldiers. I also think that you should be able to research a toggle whether or not individual troop types are sent out with gas masks, and they cost a bit more if they are deployed with one because if the officer is killed say by the impact of the gas cannister all of the soldiers who he gave a gas mask are guaranteed to die despite previously having a gas mask. Another idea is researching planes to spot for artillery, making them more accurate.
Suggestion: add mines and the place its placed if any enemy or your own soldiers steps on it explodes and when set the mine you can place it on the field where you want

Challenge Suggestion: Beat Map 8 with 1 Sniper for each Officer, 1 Officer and Sniper for every 4 Machine Gunners and Shotgunners, 1 Shotgunner and Machine Gunner for every 3 Riflemen Each, with Machine Gun, Cannon and Heavy Tanks in Support on Brutal Difficulty. Basically, Beat Map 8 on Brutal Difficulty without Resorting to Chemical Warfare (No Flamethrowers or Poison Gas). Design Suggestion: Every Nation starts off with the Current Tech Tree but as you go Further into it, they start to get their Own Unique Equipment.
have trench combat so normal units storm the trench and do mealy combat but chosen units hold back and provide support . also have different Countries have deferent units and stats. as in only the Americans had shot guns and they had great small arms so make them better at Assaulting. only the Germans had flamethrowers butt they only had a few tanks so make them more expensive. the British had the best bolt action rifle of ww1 and they had lots of tanks so make infantry fire faster and tanks cheaper for them. the French had bad mgs and tanks butt were the best at defending so take that into consideration. the Russa had lots of men so Maby cheap infantry. also please have reparable trenches and tone down artillery. PS read sid mieirs memoir the creator of the civilization games he has a lot of good advice for fellow game creators like you.
Suggestion:Vehicle upgrades for more damage and armor and engineer unit that can place land mines and static defenses. Also like flare gun ability to illuminate night for better artillery accuracy and also a setting for fog of war, and Baron getting his dev build
add a reward to finishing the caimpaingn (if you plan on adding a campaingn) that is something crazy like a short campaingn with lasers, or maybe secret units, also make 2 different campaigns, one for each faction, and have the maps change like if they were "chapters", having urban fighting, green hills then the hills slowly turn into brown as the caimpaingn goes on, having new units that can be unlocked as you progress, and maybe abilities, and also having a kind of "deck" system, where you can choose units and abilitys before you play the battle.
Suggestion: you could bring a communication unit into the game which has the effect to shorten the time to get troops and to improve the precision of the Artillery.
SUGGESTION: Hi Baron an idea that I’ve had would be that your team could add a new unit which is the “radio operator” he would have a simple pistol but so long as the radio operator is on the front lines he could increase the chances of artillery hitting units with more damage as if he was giving co-ordinates to the artillery cannon 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
an idea for trench travelling for units. trenches gets an upgrade that let you make a tunnel to the furthest trench you captured. an idea as an ability. you can call in machine guns airplanes or bomber planes to carpet bomb a long surface in a straight line rather than shooting everywhere like artillery
Suggestion for tech tree: maybe for another part of the tech tree you could have armour that gives them a higher chance of surviving artillery or a shield that could block the k bullet or flamethrower or just weaken them or just any ideas to counter other things in the tech tree Edit: maybe you could also have paratroopers that could ambush the enemy troops from behind ( tech tree ) also if an officer dies the units that have gas masks from them then they have a higher chance of death from poison gas or they just keep them with a cooldown possibly(not tech tree ) Edit 2: you could buy machine gunners to wait in trenches so you can have a spare machine gunner if the 1st one dies ( could be perk for tech tree ) also you could use stars to buy metal or sandbags to repair after artillery or so you could customise your trench or home base to make it stronger or move machine guns also if you unlock tanks you could have to refuel them or have a tank shed at your base for your tanks and you can choose when and where to retreat to, attack or refuel also you could slow tanks down in trenches or artillery holes when crossing them also to make them stop or move left and right and a timer for the time to build tanks or a warning to the enemies also carpet bombs would be good also you could choose where you want units to go and who to target first for snipers but also if someone is in front of the targeted person they get hit instead. Edit 3: also you could control units as an unlock from tech tree and tell them when to fire or throw grenades also you could see your game stats like stars and medals earned and units killed or lost and what you unlocked
Also, add medics that can heal soldiers within 10 seconds of them dying and it takes 3 seconds to heal. If it takes more than 10 seconds, the injured fully die. But unless people are injured they act like normal rifleman

New research tree: Bunkers for machine guns, more accuracy on machine guns or more explosive bullets. Bomber planes. Allies option that are accurate on WW1 allies. Snow and desert maps and a map with a bridge. Wheather cicles, day-night cicle. Wheather depending on your map, for exaple snow for snow map, decrasing by 10%the speed and by 15%the accuracy of guns. Or in the desert one, add the feature that they sweat or so. Maybe add fences for better trench defence and finnaly these wierd things that were springled around normandy in D-day.

You should have like an upgrade path for every unit and they would have an xp snipers could have 2 paths one for tank damage the other for damage to the enemy units

Suggestion: an armoured car would be cool. Just a very fast tank, a bit faster than infantry, but it’s health would be very low. It would have just a cannon like the cannon tank. Cheaper than cannon tank (by a little). Also an APC that has decent health but only a small MG. This can carry units over the battlefield or maybe spawn units? Not sure whether it would be a spawner or just something to protect infantry from artillery.
I feel like precision artilery is a little too op for the cost/effectivness, Maybe make it so it cost with both medal and money like the sniper As it is now it cam easily take out massive units for the fraction of the cost of those units and makes players don't want to invest in special units cause they're gonna get bombed immediatly with precise bombs.
Idea: an experimental weapons depot with some of those crazy weapons that never made it into the war, just make them work and remove the flaws they had, could be rifles, vehicles, maybe a zeppelin?
If you wanted to do a trench upgrade to protect from artillery you could visually change it to zig-zag. You can look at pictures of it. They did this so explosion shrapnel wouldn’t go down the line.

You could do something like if the trench where you want to place a machine gunner gets attacked by the enemy the machine gunner should be able to defend himself then just running where he is supposed to be and get shot by the enemy he could lay in the no mans land and shoot the enemy with a slow firerate and low accuracy
You know, in WW1 they also had tunnelling so maybe if you had some sort of tunnelling unit that eventually tunnels to the enemy trench and sets of a bomb or something. It might be a little bit overpowered but if it can work it might be kinda cool. You should also add land mines
Hey, I have a suggestion. So you have soldiers or like the characters but rather than only controlling them by letting them attack and defend you can also choose a soldier or a character and make control him yourself
There should be a trench repair man unit that fixes your trenches over time, upgrading him means more health and faster repair time, maybe even. Go as far as to equip him with a low damaging pistol to tilt things in your favor?
Idea: When a troop kills 2 other troops, it gets 1 star on top of their head so basically 1 star means faster shooting 2 stars means faster walking, 3 stars means accuracy the maximum stars is 3 basically a troop needs 6 kills to get 3 stars.
Suggestion... why did all my games devolve into a specific tactic no matter what it is? 1)make 4 rifles, 2) let the opponent take all trenches. use your men to get the next level. 3)make tanks, sit back, and make more tanks. (snipers are nice.) infantry slows down economy.
Suggestion: what if you can build like small buildings on trenches like a Barracks to spawn units closer to the Frontline or a medi tent which makes units more resistant to enemy shots or give small passive healing
Add different levels of veterans like three kills six kills and ten kills and if you get 100kills with one unit you get an super unit and fifty upgrades all stats
New Upgrades Extra artillery training Quicker refresh time and Machine gun training Higher Accuracy. Officers Give Damage Buffs and accuracy buffs to people in the same trench and Maybe Molotovs.
Small suggestion, but can you make it to where the sand bags on the trenches regenerate after a bit. I just think it's annoying to look at the trench when 4 sandbags are blown off while the rest are intact. Kool game though.
You should make some actual challenge modes, something like the easier ones challenge you to do it with certain units, but it's against an easier AI and the units you need to do it with don't have a medal cost, medium challenge would be something like medium AI and you'd get more medals with kills and lottery and such, hard would be basically what you did here (And if it's with normal units they would now cost medals.), and insane would be with reduced amount of medals and all units allowed need (more) medals to be summoned.
Idea:wheres theres the flamethrower or sniper path you should add a new guy called : juggernaut and if you want to spawn him you need 4 medals and 1250 stars and in the research tree you should add a upgrade like : hidebombs and when you will do artillery barrage you have a chance to have a hide bomb and when tank or a guy walk it explode.

I think most planes had 7 mm guns back then and were really fragile, dunno if that helps with balancing

You need rearguard gameplay, deploy mines and/or barbwire on no man's land behind trenches you control, have zaper units that need to advance on it when re-taking ground, and make trench upgrades bulnerable from the back allow bor trench boobytraping and bunkers that delay troop response but make them resistent to artillery..

The barrage could have two upgrades were each upgrade adds another shell to the total
And for precision artillery make the starting unlock area 50% bigger and have three upgrades where the area decreases by 30% each time. So that once you buy the last upgrade it will be nearly 100% accurate.

Some ideas for units.
Mortarman: Cannot move beyond the first trench, but is able to periodically, on call, bombard the desired area without the need to waste resources. All mortars shoot at the same time and at the same point, more mortars - more shells when firing. Can be upgraded in several ways - it can fire both high-explosive and armor-piercing shells against infantry and tanks, respectively, as well as shells with gas, also without wasting resources, depending on the upgrade path that you go through in a particular game. Moreover, high-explosive and armor-piercing shells are mutually exclusive, just like shells with gas. You shoot with one thing, and making the final decision can greatly affect the outcome of the game, especially in multiplayer. If the enemy's strategy is based on tanks, then an armor-piercing mortar would be preferable, and if the enemy prefers massive infantry attacks, then high-explosive and gas shells are used against him.
Stormtroopers: At some point during the battle, it will be possible to upgrade shotgunners to stormtroopers, very fast armored characters with submachine guns designed to break through trenches, or weaken them before the main attack. They have armor and gas masks, and also know how to throw grenades very painfully, so they may become available for upgrading from shotgunners to stormtroopers after learning these technologies.
Hey Baron, I think you should add a stormtroopers for the German side that have grenades, a Sub-Machine Gun, armor, and a gas mask.
Suggestion 1: you should be able to put 2 machine gunners on one trench and when you upgrade them fully, you can turn it into a bunker.
Suggestion 2: for the main base once you have all of the guards on it you should be able to turn them into either a machine gunner, sniper nest, or an extra artillery cannon that will work for only defense.
Suggestion 3: sorry for making this long but, there should be a mechanic called momentum where it does 10% more damage to enemy troops while you attack a trench.
Baron! You should add strafing runs to the game and when the aircraft is strafing maybe machine guns could have a slight possibility of shooting them down, and then you can make it so if the aircraft are shot down they make a cool little crash sight on the map where you can see the crashed aircraft
i have an idea for country specific units.
germany: stormtroopers (they were started in ww1 ( the historical ones at least not the star wars one's)
british: cavelry (basically a fast but weak unit that iss mainly attacks with a sword and you can spawn a lot of them.) or leach trench catapult ( catapult that throws boms)
and if maybe nations like turkey and france come things like camels for turkey and tear gas for the french ( the teargas will decraise the enemy's accurecy for ... amount of time if units are in the target area.)

suggestion for artillery and mortars: You can add radiomen units who would increase accuracy of artillery, or maybe make it a tech-tree feature where radio packs would physically show on some units, not sure which ones.
You should make it so that you can upgrade the trenches to have Camoflauge Roofs to decrese the acuracy of the artiliry if you drop bombs on them
Maybe add a fog off war so u only see inside the first enemy trench but then officers have binoculars so you can see the next trench and a warplane that can fly over and temporarily remove the fog of war completely AND they make artillery more accurate
Here's an idea: upgrades like armor or gas masks are cheaper, but have to be pruchased for each unit individually. This way you can beef up specific units relatively quickly, but it won't apply to everyone
Maybe armor, but gas masks don't make sense until a certain point anyways. May as well find a cost and multiply it by, say, 5 units and make that the actual cost

If my idea of adding separate upgrade paths for trenchs as said before trains should be one of those upgrades. This would deploy units closer to the front line and maybe even being able to upgrade them to a armored train ( got this from bf1 ) this could include machine guns and maybe a cannon. This being said this could replace the machine gun position.

Maybe add a biplane? Where you could upgrade it to first make artillery more precise then one mg then 2 mgs and then a bomb I think that would be really cool and maybe even have a squadron ability and it would 500 stars and 5 medals
I think that there should pop up a menu before you start the game were you choose difficulty, units, tanks/artillery, weather etc. Maybe you could also choose game rules like no artillery or no tanks in this match menu.

I think height in the map should matter in range like for example if a soldier is in the lowwer part of a trench and a soldier attacks higher in the map it should need to get closer than if it was right in front of the soldier in the trench.
Make it so there’s two different types of artillery shrapnel or just explosive making the shrapnel be able to cover a large area and explosive a lot less smaller area and more effective against tanks rather than infantry compared to shrapnel
Upgrade suggestion: Advanced Supply Lines. 6 Medals. No prerequisite. Unit upgrades (armor, boots, gas masks, etc) are rolled out to currently spawned units in addition to newly spawned ones.
this could be taken down to 2-3 medals, and have it as a reoccurring purchase, where every time you update your upgrades, once you think you have enough you can spend 2-3 medals to transfer the upgrades to current troops who don't have them.
@@kaldoriastory8011 I like this better. My idea was that it was a one time choice that repeats, with the medal cost to balance it. But your idea makes it situational, rather than being a de facto required upgrade like mine.

Armor should be better for the germans because of the stormtroopers and their units should be faster for blitzkrieg. Mud pits and guns getting clogged so they have to do close combat would also be great. Only the British should have tanks and shotgunners were only used by Americans and the Germans were the only ones to use flamethrower witch would explode when shot. This game has a lot of room for improvement , so keep up the good work Baron!
I think there should be biplanes that can bomb and strafe enemy's and I think there should also be trenches you can't see and the biplanes can scout.

I like this game. From my POV it is early stage. Suggestions:
I miss info about health of all units, their damage, fire rate, armor, chance to hit and shooting distance. Is one hit a kill? You upgrade but what it gives? I want to see how I make soldiers stats better. Ammunition upgrades - more basic damage. Ammunition core upgrade - better penetration (works with personal armor, tank armor). Ammunition powder upgrade - longer distance. Few levels of personal armor upgrade. Maybe upgraded units should be more expensive? All soldiers should get Gas mask. Gas mask should have levels. Poison gas may also have levels. Gas do some damage if it's level is higher than mask level. And many, many more ideas. But row numbers for start.
Maybe add faction specific units and traits like Canadian shock troops or German sturmtruppen (stormtroopers), or better trenches for the Germans. Another thing could be flechette darts to drop on enemy soldiers. I also think that you should be able to research a toggle whether or not individual troop types are sent out with gas masks, and they cost a bit more if they are deployed with one because if the officer is killed say by the impact of the gas cannister all of the soldiers who he gave a gas mask are guaranteed to die despite previously having a gas mask. Another idea is researching planes to spot for artillery, making them more accurate.

German stormtroopers should replace the shotgunners because germans never used shotguns because they considered it inhuman.

Try a machine gun only challenge you don’t use that infantry that much so it would be good for you to see if it needs a buff

Challenge Suggestion: Beat Map 8 with 1 Sniper for each Officer, 1 Officer and Sniper for every 4 Machine Gunners and Shotgunners, 1 Shotgunner and Machine Gunner for every 3 Riflemen Each, with Machine Gun, Cannon and Heavy Tanks in Support on Brutal Difficulty. Basically, Beat Map 8 on Brutal Difficulty without Resorting to Chemical Warfare (No Flamethrowers or Poison Gas).
Design Suggestion: Every Nation starts off with the Current Tech Tree but as you go Further into it, they start to get their Own Unique Equipment.
have trench combat so normal units storm the trench and do mealy combat but chosen units hold back and provide support .
also have different Countries have deferent units and stats.
as in
only the Americans had shot guns and they had great small arms so make them better at Assaulting.
only the Germans had flamethrowers butt they only had a few tanks so make them more expensive.
the British had the best bolt action rifle of ww1 and they had lots of tanks so make infantry fire faster and tanks cheaper for them.
the French had bad mgs and tanks butt were the best at defending so take that into consideration.
the Russa had lots of men so Maby cheap infantry.
also please have reparable trenches and tone down artillery.

Suggestion:Vehicle upgrades for more damage and armor and engineer unit that can place land mines and static defenses. Also like flare gun ability to illuminate night for better artillery accuracy and also a setting for fog of war, and Baron getting his dev build
You should make it so wen the sand bags you can buy them back
add a reward to finishing the caimpaingn (if you plan on adding a campaingn) that is something crazy like a short campaingn with lasers, or maybe secret units, also make 2 different campaigns, one for each faction, and have the maps change like if they were "chapters", having urban fighting, green hills then the hills slowly turn into brown as the caimpaingn goes on, having new units that can be unlocked as you progress, and maybe abilities, and also having a kind of "deck" system, where you can choose units and abilitys before you play the battle.
Suggestion: you could bring a communication unit into the game which has the effect to shorten the time to get troops and to improve the precision of the Artillery.

SUGGESTION: Hi Baron an idea that I’ve had would be that your team could add a new unit which is the “radio operator” he would have a simple pistol but so long as the radio operator is on the front lines he could increase the chances of artillery hitting units with more damage as if he was giving co-ordinates to the artillery cannon 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
an idea for trench travelling for units. trenches gets an upgrade that let you make a tunnel to the furthest trench you captured.
an idea as an ability. you can call in machine guns airplanes or bomber planes to carpet bomb a long surface in a straight line rather than shooting everywhere like artillery
Suggestion for tech tree:
maybe for another part of the tech tree you could have armour that gives them a higher chance of surviving artillery or a shield that could block the k bullet or flamethrower or just weaken them or just any ideas to counter other things in the tech tree
Edit: maybe you could also have paratroopers that could ambush the enemy troops from behind ( tech tree ) also if an officer dies the units that have gas masks from them then they have a higher chance of death from poison gas or they just keep them with a cooldown possibly(not tech tree )
Edit 2: you could buy machine gunners to wait in trenches so you can have a spare machine gunner if the 1st one dies ( could be perk for tech tree ) also you could use stars to buy metal or sandbags to repair after artillery or so you could customise your trench or home base to make it stronger or move machine guns also if you unlock tanks you could have to refuel them or have a tank shed at your base for your tanks and you can choose when and where to retreat to, attack or refuel also you could slow tanks down in trenches or artillery holes when crossing them also to make them stop or move left and right and a timer for the time to build tanks or a warning to the enemies also carpet bombs would be good also you could choose where you want units to go and who to target first for snipers but also if someone is in front of the targeted person they get hit instead.
Edit 3: also you could control units as an unlock from tech tree and tell them when to fire or throw grenades also you could see your game stats like stars and medals earned and units killed or lost and what you unlocked

Also, add medics that can heal soldiers within 10 seconds of them dying and it takes 3 seconds to heal. If it takes more than 10 seconds, the injured fully die. But unless people are injured they act like normal rifleman

Suggestion: Countries such as:Russia, France, Bulgaria, Ottomans, Americans with more shotgunners, Japan, Austrians. New research tree: Bunkers for machine guns, more accuracy on machine guns or more explosive bullets. Bomber planes. Allies option that are accurate on WW1 allies. Snow and desert maps and a map with a bridge. Wheather cicles, day-night cicle. Wheather depending on your map, for exaple snow for snow map, decrasing by 10%the speed and by 15%the accuracy of guns. Or in the desert one, add the feature that they sweat or so. Maybe add fences for better trench defence and finnaly these wierd things that were springled around normandy in D-day.

Suggestion: an armoured car would be cool. Just a very fast tank, a bit faster than infantry, but it’s health would be very low. It would have just a cannon like the cannon tank. Cheaper than cannon tank (by a little).
Also an APC that has decent health but only a small MG. This can carry units over the battlefield or maybe spawn units? Not sure whether it would be a spawner or just something to protect infantry from artillery.

As it is now it cam easily take out massive units for the fraction of the cost of those units and makes players don't want to invest in special units cause they're gonna get bombed immediatly with precise bombs.
Idea: an experimental weapons depot with some of those crazy weapons that never made it into the war, just make them work and remove the flaws they had, could be rifles, vehicles, maybe a zeppelin?
If you wanted to do a trench upgrade to protect from artillery you could visually change it to zig-zag. You can look at pictures of it. They did this so explosion shrapnel wouldn’t go down the line.

Suggestion: To make the trenches more worth it to take rather than just to win, i think you should add like a economy multiplier on each trenches. Like getting extra 1 stars or maybe more.. depends on the map and balancing... but it's only a suggestion... anyways.. love the vids baron! And the game!! ❤
You should add a kind of warehouse in the back when tanks are unlocked so when you see it you know that the enemy can spawn veichles

You could do something like if the trench where you want to place a machine gunner gets attacked by the enemy the machine gunner should be able to defend himself then just running where he is supposed to be and get shot by the enemy he could lay in the no mans land and shoot the enemy with a slow firerate and low accuracy
I agree with chaotic triple style. And to go with planes you should add a boss battle like a super heavy tank or zeppelin!
You know, in WW1 they also had tunnelling so maybe if you had some sort of tunnelling unit that eventually tunnels to the enemy trench and sets of a bomb or something. It might be a little bit overpowered but if it can work it might be kinda cool. You should also add land mines
Hey, I have a suggestion. So you have soldiers or like the characters but rather than only controlling them by letting them attack and defend you can also choose a soldier or a character and make control him yourself
There should be a trench repair man unit that fixes your trenches over time, upgrading him means more health and faster repair time, maybe even. Go as far as to equip him with a low damaging pistol to tilt things in your favor?
Idea: When a troop kills 2 other troops, it gets 1 star on top of their head so basically 1 star means faster shooting 2 stars means faster walking, 3 stars means accuracy the maximum stars is 3 basically a troop needs 6 kills to get 3 stars.
Suggestion... why did all my games devolve into a specific tactic no matter what it is? 1)make 4 rifles, 2) let the opponent take all trenches. use your men to get the next level. 3)make tanks, sit back, and make more tanks. (snipers are nice.) infantry slows down economy.
Suggestion: what if you can build like small buildings on trenches like a Barracks to spawn units closer to the Frontline or a medi tent which makes units more resistant to enemy shots or give small passive healing
Add different levels of veterans like three kills six kills and ten kills and if you get 100kills with one unit you get an super unit and fifty upgrades all stats
New Upgrades
Extra artillery training Quicker refresh time and Machine gun training Higher Accuracy.
Officers Give Damage Buffs and accuracy buffs to people in the same trench and Maybe Molotovs.
I think you should make the men different to each other

Small suggestion, but can you make it to where the sand bags on the trenches regenerate after a bit. I just think it's annoying to look at the trench when 4 sandbags are blown off while the rest are intact. Kool game though.
Suggestion: Morals should be added so when they are low stickman will start running from battlefield.
Tech tree idea: last stand, summons units when your fort reaches a certain health. Can be upgraded for more units.
Could you do an only shotgunner challenge?
You should make some actual challenge modes, something like the easier ones challenge you to do it with certain units, but it's against an easier AI and the units you need to do it with don't have a medal cost, medium challenge would be something like medium AI and you'd get more medals with kills and lottery and such, hard would be basically what you did here (And if it's with normal units they would now cost medals.), and insane would be with reduced amount of medals and all units allowed need (more) medals to be summoned.
Idea:wheres theres the flamethrower or sniper path you should add a new guy called : juggernaut and if you want to spawn him you need 4 medals and 1250 stars and in the research tree you should add a upgrade like : hidebombs and when you will do artillery barrage you have a chance to have a hide bomb and when tank or a guy walk it explode.
Suggestion for tanks: have a building at base like a garage were when you get a tank it exits the garage instead of just spawning.
