Do you guys study HEMA at all I've seen a few things in the game that tells me you guys have at least some HEMA knowledge like a few stances and thing I've seen in manuals

Our lead developer Franky took Bloßfechten for a while, which is Unarmored fencing, and they are huge fans of Fiore dei Liberi, while our 3d arts director is a huge Hans Talhoffer fan, sparking a little rivalry between them! You can see a combination of both practitioners styles in the game! They plan to add many more stances and to flesh out the combat system much more. Stay tuned!
Hi, management staff form HalfSword im gonna give you some help 1. if your screen is black that means your stamina is low, tired, or you got hit hard! 2. sprint into them super hard and swing to make them fall down or you can just run into them hard to tackle them! 3. Hold you sword or weapon in the air then swing when they come closer to you. 4. Enjoy the game.
He doesn’t and is bad. You gotta actually play the game for a few hours to get good. Spam clicking and flailing till you run out of stamina is bad. Not knocking Baron bc it’s obviously his first few times playing but that definitely shows
The title is exactly the first thing i thought when i saw gameplay of this game lol. The crazy thing is it doesnt feel anything like tabs and is actually highly safisticated even though it doesnt look like it. You can replicate historically accurate moves and use real technique that WILL help you win fights in this game, unlike most games being able to use whacky physics or game bugs to give you an edge. Theres some serious potential in this game and its not even funny once you think about it
Imo, the long spiky club, and the 2h axe are the most OP weapons so far. Almost never lost with those two. The spikes will always hit something, and the axe can cut through anything that isn't plate (chainmail etc)
My 2 big tips for you would be: 1. swinging and sprinting drains stamina you can get it back just by sitting for a little bit 2. press right click when you are only holding one weapon ; )
Ive played, sometimes if your feet get injured your guy has a hard time standing, but if/when you fall hold space and he should get up eventually. (Also hold Alt for stab mode, or double click)
