I have an Etrusco V5900 which Is basically the same as the Sunlight V60 , they are a Hymer budget brand along with Carado who have the same layout , good vans and you get the Hymer build quality. My van is set up very similar to your so good for off grid , we spend a couple of weeks in the Outer Hebrides off grid and had no issues but winter might be more challenging? I build my own now. Nothing on the market will give me the things I need to race motorcycles and ebikes and be within the weight limits. Cruse and aircon are a must. Mine will also do 165 kph which helps you catch the ferry when your late lol. Glad you're happy with your van Sam though this model is not for me

Really great value Sam, for that money I couldn´t think anything better. Maybe the garage is not that fancy than that custom ones with rail racks, but cant match the bathroom in such a convenient space... I´d buy it too.

that's a great price for a great van I saw tons of projects where people are buying a large vans and converting them into some kind of motorhome but for me it looks like a waste of time and money.. they have lots of problems, inefficient use of space, no shower or usable toilet. when taking account all the men hours plus the price of the van and all the equipment hardware and tools needed, the total cost is not far from buying a new motorhome.. you made the right decision 👌
Sam can you fit a single bike in the garage without removing the front wheel and twisting handlebars? I can see the garage door is wide enough but also can see the garage narrows inside to perhaps only 700mm wide?
3500 rpm in 6th gear is quite high . A proper 6th gear overdrive should be much lower than that . this is what happens when the Hp is too small for the weight of the vehicle . i have a honda diesel suv with a turbo diesel with 150 HP . it will cruise in 6th gear at about 1500 rpm.

My Hymer has stairs to get up in bed. I can pull it out and put it back to no space at all. Around it two closets with little doors. Very clever.

@@SamsBikes yeah its time consuming for sure. I also have a full engineering workshop at my disposal which helps. Its not for everyone I know.

You can easily fit aftermarket reading lights which have built in USB points 🙂

For the latter, look into a collapsible latter . Like you would find in a Freightliner semi truck..

Yea mate actually at 120 it’s more like 2600 which I think is too high needs a over drive
